Last July, the Mandara Spa location in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort closed its doors.

Now, we’re waiting patiently on its replacement. Tenaya Stone Spa was set to debut in Spring 2020, but in light of the recent closures, Disney just quietly updated the opening date to say “Coming Soon.”
We were checking out the Disney websites today when we spotted a change to the Grand Californian page. The opening date for Tenaya Stone Spa, a California-themed full-service experience, has been changed from “Spring 2020” to “Coming Soon” in light of the current closure of Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland is currently accepting reservations for July 1 and beyond. While Disneyland has resumed some essential construction, most has been halted due to the closures. The closures and delays in construction have resulted in Disneyland Resort changing the Avengers Campus opening date to “coming soon” as well.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the spa and the rest of the resort to report back as things change!
