It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on the renovated McDonald’s location at Disney World! So, we thought it would be great to check-in on the construction progress today!
McDonald’s Construction Back in January
And as of today, it looks like the construction has come a long way! Check out how the new Mickey D’s is stylin’ and profilin’ now!
As you’ll remember, the old McDonald’s closed back in October of 2019 and was completely demolished to make way a big, shiny new restaurant! It looks like the new McDonald’s has really taken shape while we’ve been away! In fact, the building resembles a giant “M!”

The golden arches are finally up making this ultra-modern building instantly recognizable as a McDonald’s restaurant — albeit a very classy and sleek-looking one! It even appears to have a “living wall” comprised of plants on the side of its entrance which is very en vogue at the moment!

The new McDonalds was originally scheduled to be done by March of this year. While it is not open due to the closures, construction has certainly come a long way! We can’t wait to see what it looks like inside.
