There are seriously SO many great Disney movies, it’s almost impossible to pick a favorite!
But that’s EXACTLY what we’re aiming to do with our latest official tournament — Disney Movies Throw Down!
So far, we’ve already collectively chosen our favorite Disney World food in Snack Madness while the winner of our Rides & Attractions Throw Down really thew us for a loop! Now we’re making some of our Disney feature-length movies go head-to-head in a series of epic face-offs! Here are the movies that will be advancing into Round Two!
Classic Disney movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Dumbo, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty will be advancing on in the competition, while Pinocchio, Fantasia, Bambi, Alice and Wonderland, and Lady and the Tramp are already OUT!
We’re surprised to see Brother Bear and Meet the Robinsons are moving on, as will The Fox and the Hound, The Great Mouse Detective, and The Emperor’s New Groove! Only time will tell how these lesser-known Disney rookies will stack up against the veterans!
We’re also pretty shocked by the way some of these votes fell last round — with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure set to open in Epcot soon, y’all must be re-watching Ratatouille A LOT because it beat out the beloved Cars!

Tune into our Instagram live stories tonight as we kick off Round Two of our Disney Movies Throw Down! And before you get ready to vote, make sure you check out this adorable new Pride Month merchandise we just spotted at World of Disney today! It’s a rainbow lover’s dream come TRUE!

We have really enjoyed these tournaments, but some seeding is in order, please. For example, two classics like Toy Story and Mary Poppins should not be matched against each other in the first round! That’s like seeing Duke beat Kentucky on the first day of March Madness. Great match-ups should be saved for the later rounds (barring wild upsets, of course).
Think big blockbuster movies should not have gone head to head in first round. That’s like Duke playing Kentucky in Round 1 of NCAA tournament. It skews the pool. But thanks for doing this. It’s fun to watch.
