We’re checked in to the reopened Disney World resort hotels today to see what we can learn!

With all of the health and safety protocol changes we’re seeing in the resorts today, we have a few specific questions. For one, can we still get groceries delivered to our Disney World resort hotel?
Grocery delivery is an awesome trick to managing your packing and budget needs. We love to have the option when we’re visiting Disney World so we were happy to find out that you CAN still get groceries delivered.
Polynesian Resort Lobby
The process remains the same. If you order groceries (through Garden Grocer, Instacart, or a variety of other delivery services), you can have them delivered to Bell Services. Packages shipped from home or an online retailer will be accepted by the front desk. They will keep your groceries or packages stored and refrigerated or frozen (if needed) until you can pick them up from the front desk or you can have them delivered to your room for a handling fee of $6.

What about Uber eats or other food deliveries?

Are you driving or using the busses from Disney Springs to all the DVC resorts? Do you know if the Friendship boats, monorails or Skyliner running?
We arrive tomorrow at BCV, we can’t wait!!!!!!!!!
CJ, I know our team members on the ground said the MOnorail and Skyliner won’t be running until the Parks open (this was what CMs told them). I’m not sure about the Friendship Boats. Let me see if I can find out real quickly.

I saw you guys took a stroll down the boardwalk. Will non Boardwalk guest be able to visit?
I tried to make a dinner reservation but Disney phone message says only taking dining reservations up to July 10th.
Have you heard when guest staying at resorts after July 10th can make dinner reservations?
Serena, so far, I don’t think we have. But tonight Disney released more info on Park restaurants opening in July, so hopefully those ADRs will be the next thing folks can do for planning.
Serena, we did not see security keeping folks from the BoardWalk, so it seems like yes.

What would you say is the best grocery delivery service for staying on property?
Rachel, our team’s experience is that Garden Grocers is the easiest to work with because they’re so familiar with WDW, but Instacart is more reasonably priced (though we’ve had mixed experiences with the delivery drivers).
Do you know if they still do room delivery during COVID? Thank you!
Cristina, we were told that room delivery is available for $6.
I just chatted with a cast member who told me that Bell Services “isn’t accepting any deliveries for guests due to covid-19″…is that correct? I really thought that Prime Now, Shipt, Instacart, etc were still happening? Any insight?
