Disney World’s Yacht Club Resort is officially open!

Slowly but surely, the Disney World resorts have continued reopening since the closure a few months back and the latest resort is now open to guests. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort officially opened today along with Stormalong Bay pool, resort dining options, and (to our surprise) In-Room Dining!
We checked in with a Cast Member today who confirmed for us that YES, In-Room Dining is available at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! This is the first reopened resort that is offering room service. Since the hotels began reopening, Disney World has has room service on hold.

As a note, the Yacht Club page on the Disney World website does not reflect this very new information. Similar to other dining offerings, the room-service menu has seen some changes and is currently limited.

As for what’s cookin’? Jason Deyoung sent us some shots from the menu! Looks like resort guests can order Mickey waffles and Salted Caramel Apple French Toast for breakfast in bed. We’ll have two of each, please!

We’ll be looking into the return of in-room dining at other Disney World resorts so stay tuned for the latest updates. And we will do some research to see if and how the process has changed. And, if you’re staying at the Yacht Club, get ready to order room service if you’re feeling it!

For how much the resorts cost and with the limited capacity they NEED to have in room dining. It shouldn’t only be for the NBA. Also I NEED the twilight feast for my stag in October. Please get it running ASAP. It’ll being money back for Disney and help with the limited capacity and keeping guests safe.
Does Caribbean Beach Resort do in-room dining?
Katherine, currently no Resorts but Yacht Club are offering in-room dining.
Katherine, Caribbean Beach does not offer room service dining nor has it ever. Beach Club yes.
When will in room dining return to the contemporary hotel? We are disappointed that a lot of the restaurant reservations are taken and we’re hoping that the contemporary will have in room dining service will be open in February.
Tracy, no word on this from Disney yet. We’ll update when they do.
