There are SO MANY delicious things to try at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen some additional festival booths open, and others temporarily close. Tomorrow, the France festival booth will actually be introducing a BRAND NEW dish!
We’ve had some delicious dishes at the France festival booth, including a lot of our favorites from EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival like the Tarte Tropezienne: Coulis Framboise.
Starting tomorrow, a BRAND NEW item will be available — Feuilleté d’Escargot à la Crème d’Ail et Persil or Escargot in Puff Pastry with Garlic and Parsley Cream Sauce. L’Artisan des Glaces posted about this new dish earlier on their Instagram.
We’ve seen escargot in the past at the France festival booths in a variety of forms — like this Croissant aux Escargots with Garlic and Parsley from last year’s Food & Wine Festival…
…this Tartlette aux Escargot from 2014…
and these Escargots Persillade en Brioche from way back in 2012.
It sounds like this year’s version will be similar to the one from last year, except it will be in a puff pastry as opposed to a croissant. Once we get to sample this new dish, we’ll definitely let you know our thoughts on it! In the meantime, we’ve got some shopping to do — so much new Festival merchandise is now available!
