In case you haven’t noticed, there is a LOT of construction going on around EPCOT right now!

And that means we have SO much to look forward to over the upcoming months and years, including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a new creperie, and more! But there’s one upcoming EPCOT attraction we might just be the most stoked about — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
We’ve been getting a lot of updates on the attraction over the past month, including a peek at the inside of the attraction, as well as a peek at the ride vehicles. During tonight’s D23 Event, EPCOT — The Magic of Possibility, though, we got some new photos of Imagineers working on the attraction.

But there’s more important news because Imagineer Zach Riddley made a HUGE announcement. He said, “Our Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind project team has hit a huge milestone and begun a process that we call ‘Push Pull,’ where we actually put the ride vehicles on the track for the very first time.” And here’s a FIRST LOOK at the ride vehicles on the track!

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has already described the attraction as “utterly mind-blowing.” Riddley said, “Construction on the project is progressing and I’ve been out on the site; and I can tell you all that I’ve seen first-hand, it’s going to be out of this world.” WE ARE SO HYPED.

Another spin and puke dark ride?
Ken, I don’t believe we have word on just how dramatic the spinning will be.
Your piece on Epcot’s major building changes was completely fascinating and you did a wonderful job in including as many details as possible. It’s incredible how it seemed Disney wouldn’t be able to finish or even start much of the work and out of the blue we’re having rides and buildings popping up all over the place. Was there ever any doubt that Disney wouldn’t do this for the Anniversary? After all, it’s honouring Walt Disney’s memory and his incredible dreams and concepts he had and of course everyone is going to put together as much as possible.
