We had an adventurous time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this week!
We spotted TWO pairs of ears, fresh popcorn, and by the way, Christmas souvenirs are already on sale! Take a look at what we found!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Update
Fresh popcorn is BACK at Animal Kingdom, baby! This is the first time we’ve seen the popcorn stands popping fresh corn in this theme park. The popcorn stands that are currently open are the Corn-Ivores stand in DinoLand, USA…
…and the Mahindi popcorn stand in Africa. The difference between these stands and other carts is that the snack is popped fresh right before your eyes! Hooray for fresh goods!
The GORGEOUS Menagerie Cupcake has arrived at Creature Comforts. It arrived a little early in mid-November and we got to taste the beauty before its official arrival date of December 1st. We just spotted this stunning cupcake in the case at Starbucks!
It’s almost too pretty to eat, right?
Yak & Yeti received new menu items when it first reopened with parks. More items were added to the menu online since our visit and the returning dishes are now reflected on the menu in the restaurant. Two of the additional items are the Wok-Fried Green Beans from the small plates menu and Soy Herb Glazed Rib Eye from the grilled section.
We’ll keep an eye out for any additional changes at this restaurant and others!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update
Discovery Trading Company
Is it too soon for a sale on Christmas merch? We welcome these discounts with open arms! You can get 30% off holiday headwear, apparel, tabletop items (like mugs!), plush, and toys!
We spotted this same sale happening at various gift shops around the Animal Kingdom. You can also stack the sale if you have an Annual Pass or other discounts!
Did someone say new ears?? Oh, it was a Minnie Mouse Ear Celebration in Animal Kingdom yesterday! The first ears we found were the new Mermaid Minnie Ears inspired by Ariel!
The ears were decorated with shiny “scale” sequins and even a dinglehopper! The pair costs $29.99.
They’re a gorgeous shade of light blue that reminds us of a wintery blue scene. These ears are also $29.99.
The new Soul merchandise has arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We saw all of the merchandise in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom and it arrived at Disneyland Resort too! You can find most of the collection including plushes, cups, shirts, ornaments, and more at Riverside Depot!
All this soulful talk of merch is getting us excited for the film’s premiere!
We also spotted the new 25th Anniversary Toy Story pins! You can get the Buzz or Woody pin…
…or a string of green aliens! All three cost $19.99.
There’s also Buzz and Woody buddy set for $39.99…
…and a Mystery Pack containing one of the following pins for $19.99!
Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures
Goodbye, 2020! Hellooo, 2021! Disney debuted the new 2021 merchandise a few weeks ago. Now, we found a bunch of the new merch in DinoLand, USA too! The shelves were stocked with lanyards, keychains, magnets, and more.
The designs feature Mickey, Minnie, and friends in their animation style!
Windtraders Gift Shop
Three super cool Pandora masks were released at the gift shop in Pandora – The World of Avatar! The face masks are inspired by the attractions and characters from the movie and inside the land. We especially love all the colorful designs!
Each mask is $9.99.
A couple pin trading updates before we go! We found a new pin trading location in DinoLand, USA. The station was set up in the location where characters like Goofy used to do their meet and greets.
We also noticed the pin trading location near Expedition Everest had two flyers full of exclusive pins. These are pins that you can only trade with Cast Members! Head to Animal kingdom for all your pin trading tasks!
That’s all for now! We’ll be back for another wild time at Animal Kingdom very soon!
