We ate our way around the world during the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and we enjoyed all the festivities at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays — but now it’s time for another festival to take over — the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!
We’re ready to celebrate the performance arts, visual arts, and (OF COURSE) the culinary arts(!) with all kinds of festival foods, entertainment, and more. Ready to experience it all with us? Grab your stretchy pants and come along with us for a virtual trip ALL around EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!
The Festival of the Arts opened today (January 8th) at EPCOT and will be available for everyone to enjoy through February 22nd, 2021. So, that gives you plenty of time to make your way to this park and join in on the festivities!
We’re so excited to get started!

Maps and Festival Booklet
As we entered EPCOT (and gazed with love at the new EPCOT fountain), we grabbed our special EPCOT map featuring the Festival of the Arts and the Festival of the Arts Passport.
The designs on these are great, and they can serve as a great (and FREE) souvenir and reminder of your trip. The passport has all the need-to-know festival info!
Signs and Decor
Throughout the park, we also spotted some fun Festival of the Arts signs and decorations featuring our favorite festival pal — Figment!
There’s no denying that this purple dragon has become the EPCOT festival king (and we’re not mad at that).
With every good EPCOT festival comes a BUCKET LOAD of awesome festival merchandise, and the Festival of the Arts is no exception! As we walked around the park, we spotted a whole bunch of great items like this RAD Festival of the Arts Spirit Jersey!
Is Figment the best part of fest merch? He just might be.
We also spotted not one, but TWO Limited Edition Festival of the Arts Magicbands. One is a Passholder exclusive!
Is that the Dreamfinder on a Magicband!? We’re freaking out!
And there is a LOT more merchandise too!
You can bet we’re showing you ALL of it in our full merchandise rundown!
In terms of the performing arts, there’s quite a bit of entertainment for the family to enjoy! You can listen to Voices of Liberty as they perform favorite Disney songs, check out some amazing strength acts with Art Defying Gravity, listen to the EPCOT pianist play in World Showplace, jam out with the JAMMitors at the Mill Stage in the Canada Pavilion…
…and even see Visual Art in Performance, which is a high-energy performance from a guest visual artist who will paint favorite Disney characters in World Showplace right before your eyes.
We got the chance to see some of these today and are excited to come back again to check out more of them in the future.
And, we get to the celebration of the arts themselves! In terms of visual arts, there’s lots to see.
You can put yourself INTO a painting with all of the awesome photo ops throughout the park.
Strike a pose and get ready to be the star of your own fantastic piece of art!
Artful Photo Ops are an awesome part of this festival and we can’t wait to snap some seriously cool pics.
There are lots, lots more of these cool photo ops too!
Paint by Number Mural
You can also check out the Paint by Number Mural which you can participate in with other guests to help complete a GIANT painting.
We can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s more filled in!
Aside from that, you’ll also be able to check out chalk art, interactive experiences like searching for chalk drawings of Disney Characters throughout World Showcase, checking out pavilion exhibits (like the Mexico Folk Art Gallery in the Mexico Pavilion), and even participating in an Animation Academy experience at the America Gardens Theatre at 12:30PM and 1:30PM daily.
There’s a LOT to do and see!
Figment Scavenger Hunt
You can also go on an adventure around the park with Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt.

Did you know you can also spot hidden characters all around EPCOT? This fest brings with it a whole bevy of Chalkful characters that you can spot tucked on the walls and in the scenery around you!
We love looking out for these little guys (and kids definitely will too).
Or, you can check out the Festival Markets to purchase some amazing pieces from participating artists.
During our trip today, we spotted lots of beautiful works of art that could make an awesome gift or add that extra special touch of magic to your home. And, good news! If you want to snag the perfect piece and don’t want to tote it around all day, EPCOT is offering Art Hold.
And, finally, we get to the part many of you may have been waiting for — the CULINARY ARTS! This year’s festival features lots of different booths (including a BRAND NEW one) and you better believe we’re eating our way through them all!
The France booth was a standout (as always) with a Truffle Croissant, Molten Chocolate Cake, Macarons, and a BRIE-FILLED BREAD BOWL.
Did we mention they also have a Frozen Martini that tastes just like liquid Smarties?
Next up, we stopped into Pop Eats! to try out some of the offerings at this super creative booth. We tend to come away wowed from this one!
This year, Pop Eats! is serving up some tomato soup and grilled cheese duos, plus other returning favorites!
On to the newest booth! Vibrante & Vivido is a tribute to famous Disney artist Mary Blair (the designer of “it’s a small world”) — in food form!
This booth has some seriously creative and COLORFUL option!
Now it’s on to Festival Favorite to try Remy’s signature dish — yup, it’s Ratatouille!
Did we mention beer flights are back for this festival? We’re PUMPED!
China’s booth is called The Painted Panda. Though prices were a little higher here than you might see at other booths, we were still loving it!
Plus, the dishes here were so, so pretty. Could that cocktail be our most Instagrammable? We’ll have to see!
The Painter’s Palate has one of the oddest cocktails we’ve ever heard of! Yes, it’s made with red wine and Pibb Xtra!!
What did we think? You’ll have to check out our review to find out.
Next up, we’re headed to the Mexico booth which is a usual favorite for us!
Careful, some of the dishes at this booth have some serious SPICE! And yes, you are seeing a chocolate taco.
Head on over to the Morocco Pavilion for some awesome festival flavors at Mosaic Canteen.
These portions are pretty big and that dessert is totally fab.
Next, it’s on to The Masterpiece Kitchen in Canada! This booth has a returning favorite. Take a gander at this panna cotta!
Have you ever SEEN such a beautiful dessert?
Rose lovers will want to head on over to the Germany Pavilion to check out the offerings at Cuisine Classique.
Plus, this spot has one of the most iconic cookies of the fest!
The Japan booth has one of the most creative offerings we’ve ever seen at an EPCOT fest. This dish actually ENCOURAGES you to play with your food!
It’s a treat that’s a create-your-own stone garden! Once you’re done crafting it to your liking, you get to EAT it!
Decadent Delights has some pretty unique offerings like Peanut Butter Beer!
This booth had some winners and some losers — check out our review to see what items were which!
Next up, we’re heading into Italy to try some intriguing dishes — like Lobster Ravioli — inspired by the art of Italian cuisine.
We can’t say we loved this booth, but we did enjoy our sips of Sangria!
Yep, Citrus Blossom is ONCE AGAIN a booth at this festival — as it has been for the last four festivals.
Keep in mind, this spot is only beverages this time around!
Next up, we headed around to The American Adventure pavilion to try out The Artist’s Table.
This spot had some serious winners this year — maybe even some items that were best of the fest material!
Annnnnd finally, we reviewed the Deconstructed Dish. This booth is known for some seriously awesome presentation.
Plus, the food is DELICIOUS too!
The Food Studios aren’t the only places with festival eats. Some other locations have options too! We stopped by Refreshment Outpost for some yummy eats…
…and BLUE BEER!
You won’t BELIEVE the beautiful mini-funnel cake available at the Funnel Cake Stand for this fest.
It’s got ACTUAL PIXIE DUST on it!
Over at Refreshment Port, the Lobster Chips we’ve been seeing for the last few years got an UPGRADE into Lobster Poutine.
It’s cheesy, it’s spicy, and OMG is it a massive portion or what?!
Joffrey’s has four candy-themed lattes and donuts at the various locations around EPCOT!
Which would be your favorite?
Not only do the Joffrey’s locations have some candy-filled, art-inspired offerings, but you can also learn to paint with coffee. So neat!
Don’t forget you can also do The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine guided food walk!
We reviewed it today to see if it’s worth that $30 price tag…
We’ll be updating this post to take you with us ALL DAY as we explore the fest! Stay tuned so you don’t miss a beat! And if you’re looking for more updates follow along with us on Instagram!!
