We ate our way around the world during the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and we enjoyed all the festivities at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays — but now it’s time for another festival to take over — the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!
We’re ready to celebrate the performance arts, visual arts, and (OF COURSE) the culinary arts(!) with all kinds of festival foods, entertainment, and more. Ready to experience it all with us? Grab your stretchy pants and come along with us for a virtual trip ALL around EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!
Festival Dates
The Festival of the Arts opened today (January 8th) at EPCOT and will be available for everyone to enjoy through February 22nd, 2021. So, that gives you plenty of time to make your way to this park and join in on the festivities!
We’re so excited to get started!

Maps and Festival Booklet
As we entered EPCOT (and gazed with love at the new EPCOT fountain), we grabbed our special EPCOT map featuring the Festival of the Arts and the Festival of the Arts Passport.
The designs on these are great, and they can serve as a great (and FREE) souvenir and reminder of your trip. The passport has all the need-to-know festival info!
Signs and Decor
Throughout the park, we also spotted some fun Festival of the Arts signs and decorations featuring our favorite festival pal — Figment!
There’s no denying that this purple dragon has become the EPCOT festival king (and we’re not mad at that).
Festival Merchandise
With every good EPCOT festival comes a BUCKET LOAD of awesome festival merchandise, and the Festival of the Arts is no exception! As we walked around the park, we spotted a whole bunch of great items like this RAD Festival of the Arts Spirit Jersey!
Is Figment the best part of fest merch? He just might be.
Click here to see MORE of the festival Spirit Jersey!
We also spotted not one, but TWO Limited Edition Festival of the Arts Magicbands. One is a Passholder exclusive!
Is that the Dreamfinder on a Magicband!? We’re freaking out!
Click here to see more pics of these two MagicBands!
And there is a LOT more merchandise too!
You can bet we’re showing you ALL of it in our full merchandise rundown!

Performing Arts
In terms of the performing arts, there’s quite a bit of entertainment for the family to enjoy! You can listen to Voices of Liberty as they perform favorite Disney songs, check out some amazing strength acts with Art Defying Gravity, listen to the EPCOT pianist play in World Showplace, jam out with the JAMMitors at the Mill Stage in the Canada Pavilion…
…and even see Visual Art in Performance, which is a high-energy performance from a guest visual artist who will paint favorite Disney characters in World Showplace right before your eyes.
We got the chance to see some of these today and are excited to come back again to check out more of them in the future.

Visual Arts
And, we get to the celebration of the arts themselves! In terms of visual arts, there’s lots to see.
Photo Ops
You can put yourself INTO a painting with all of the awesome photo ops throughout the park.
Strike a pose and get ready to be the star of your own fantastic piece of art!
Artful Photo Ops are an awesome part of this festival and we can’t wait to snap some seriously cool pics.
There are lots, lots more of these cool photo ops too!

Paint by Number Mural
You can also check out the Paint by Number Mural which you can participate in with other guests to help complete a GIANT painting.
We can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s more filled in!
More Art
Aside from that, you’ll also be able to check out chalk art, interactive experiences like searching for chalk drawings of Disney Characters throughout World Showcase, checking out pavilion exhibits (like the Mexico Folk Art Gallery in the Mexico Pavilion), and even participating in an Animation Academy experience at the America Gardens Theatre at 12:30PM and 1:30PM daily.
There’s a LOT to do and see!
You can see more of the Chalk Art right here!
Figment Scavenger Hunt
You can also go on an adventure around the park with Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt.

Culinary Arts
And, finally, we get to the part many of you may have been waiting for — the CULINARY ARTS! This year’s festival features lots of different booths (including a BRAND NEW one) and you better believe we’re eating our way through them all!
L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise (France)
The France booth was a standout (as always) with a Truffle Croissant, Molten Chocolate Cake, Macarons, and a BRIE-FILLED BREAD BOWL.
Did we mention they also have a Frozen Martini that tastes just like liquid Smarties?

Pop Eats (Showcase Plaza)
Next up, we stopped into Pop Eats! to try out some of the offerings at this super creative booth. We tend to come away wowed from this one!

The Painted Panda (China)
China’s booth is called The Painted Panda. Though prices were a little higher here than you might see at other booths, we were still loving it!
Plus, the dishes here were so, so pretty. Could that cocktail be our most Instagrammable? We’ll have to see!

Painter’s Palate (World Showplace)
The Painter’s Palate has one of the oddest cocktails we’ve ever heard of! Yes, it’s made with red wine and Pibb Xtra!!
What did we think? You’ll have to check out our review to find out.

Citrus Blossom
Yep, Citrus Blossom is ONCE AGAIN a booth at this festival — as it has been for the last four festivals.

You won’t BELIEVE the beautiful mini-funnel cake available at the Funnel Cake Stand for this fest.
It’s got ACTUAL PIXIE DUST on it!

Over at Refreshment Port, the Lobster Chips we’ve been seeing for the last few years got an UPGRADE into Lobster Poutine.
It’s cheesy, it’s spicy, and OMG is it a massive portion or what?!

It makes he so angry at the lack of GF items. They serve GF cheese toastie and soup at Woodys eatery at Hollywood Studios, why can’t they do it here ? We have noticed the lack of allergy friendly options shortening with each festival, it’s like Disney doesn’t care, as they know they will make a good profit without putting customers first.
