Review: One of Our Favorite Drinks Is BACK in Hollywood Studios

There’s a bit of a chill in the air today, but the sun is shining bright in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And what better way to celebrate a pretty day than with the new(ish) Sunshine Margarita at the Market!

If you’re not familiar with this simple stand with a simple name, that’s likely because — until recently — it hasn’t served up any signature snacks. The Market previously offered just a few drinks and park staples like Churros. More recently, though, it’s become a bit more high profile as the current home to the Num Num Cookie while the nearby Neighborhood Market remains closed. So, it seems a little menu refresh was in order, and the Sunshine Margarita is one of the results!

You’ll see the Sunshine Margarita listed under the Specialty Beverages with alcohol along with a Classic Pina Colada.

Previously, the Margarita on offer was simply a “Frozen Margarita,” and in speaking with a cast member we learned that the Sunshine Margarita is not a new beverage… it’s just the name itself that’s new.

That said, the refreshed name does shine some light on the bright citrus flavor that’s so prominent in this drink, and it’s exactly what makes this sip so refreshing!

The Sunshine Margarita is nice and tart without a bite, and it would be especially delightful on a hot day. It’s a simple, good-and-boozy drink. At $13.00, it’s a bit pricey for what it is, but it’s far better than the Cosmo on Tap we tried over in Toy Story Land recently.

And it’s nice to see the Market stepping up its game a bit by serving up some SUNSHINE here on Pixar Place. We hope you’re enjoying some sunshine wherever you are today!
