Attention: a classic TV show is on its way to Disney+!
We’ve keeping a close eye on Disney+ news here at DFB! We’ve brought you a list of everything coming to the streaming service in March, and we’ve been sure to share the latest trailers for up-and-coming originals like Raya and the Last Dragon and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. But we may have to find a way to clear some room in our binge-watching schedule!
According to Deadline, The Golden Girls is coming to Disney+! This is BIG news. At a Star event, Disney EMEA President Jan Koeppen said, “Coming this summer, you will have every season of The Golden Girls, every ever episode.” That’s 180 episodes over 7 seasons!
We don’t have an official date for The Golden Girls’ Disney+ debut, but according to Koeppen, we can hope to curl up with our popcorn this summer.
It’s also not entirely clear which countries are getting this iconic sitcom, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more! The comedy series currently lives on Hulu, but we can’t wait to follow Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia’s adventures on Disney+. Stay tuned to DFB for even more Disney news and updates!
