We’ll be honest: we’re over here scratching our heads, wondering why Disney World has yet to add a Tiana’s Palace restaurant! A Princess and the Frog-themed restaurant was announced as part of the Reflections Resort, but we want Tiana’s Palace right now, Disney! It’s not every day a Disney restaurant presents itself so effortlessly, and with a Princess and the Frog-inspired makeover coming to Splash Mountain, now’s the time to fulfill ALL of our Tiana’s Palace dreams!

While we wait (kinda) patiently for Tiana’s Palace to one day become a reality in Disney World (in the meantime, there is a Tiana’s Place restaurant aboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship), we found some new merchandise over at BoxLunch that will at least help us imagine that the restaurant exists in real life!

So here’s the plan: we’ll all dress up in our Tiana’s Palace apparel and walk around Disney World. Guests will ask, “Oh, I didn’t realize they opened a Tiana’s Palace restaurant!” And then we’ll say back to them, “They haven’t opened one yet, but would that be awesome?” And then we’ll ALL have the idea in our head, and Disney World will have no choice but open up a new restaurant! That’s how opening a new restaurant works, right? Well, we can just keep dreaming for now!

FYI: it’s Tiana’s Place
PO Riverside -replace Boatwrights
Not everybody cares about this – while there are a lot of fans of the movie, there are not a lot of fans of Cajun food. While it doesn’t have to be all Cajun, it probably wouldn’t do well at all on a Parks level. But put into Port Orleans? It would make sense even if it’s the quick service option that has nothing inspired by the movie other than the decor.
Drop it into New Orleans Square. Replacing Boatwrights isn’t a bad idea, but don’t you think a little jazz in New Orleans Square would really help that portion of the Park?
I like Jasmine’s idea to replace Boatwright’s with Tiana’s but would love if they put it where Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn is, near Splash Mountain we know is soon to be rethemed, and moved Pecos Bill to the sad, lingering Diamond Horseshoe.

Tiana’s Place on the Wonder is noisy, distracting, and tons of fun. The food is good, the entertainment is great, Tiana is perfect and the beignets are a messy delight. (Yeah, I miss cruising on DCL.)
@joe When Tiana’s poster of her restaurant is called “Tiana’s Place”. At the end of the movie though, her restaurant ends up becoming “Tiana’s Palace”, which makes sense because she’s now a princess.
