If you’ve been following along with us recently, you know that we’ve been trying many St. Patrick’s Day treats.
This time, we’re putting aside all of the green icing and shamrock sprinkles to try a dessert that’s a little bit more… sophisticated.
If you’re in search of an elegant St. Patrick’s Day dessert in Disney World, head over to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. There, you can find the St. Patrick’s Dessert at Three Bridges Bar and Grill.
The St. Paddy’s Dessert is an Irish cream mousse-filled pâte à choux with pistachio cream and a chocolate shamrock. And just in case you’re not a dessert aficionado, pâte à choux is a delicate pastry dough that is commonly used in pastries, like cream puffs and profiteroles. Fancy words aside, just look at how stinkin’ CUTE this dessert is! It’s wearing a little hat!
This dessert had just the right amount of sweetness! The textures were all very light and airy and worked really well together when you try them all in one bite. The Jameson-infused cream filling was delicious and not overpowering at all. Our reporter isn’t the biggest pistachio fan but they still enjoyed this dish a lot (the pistachio cream is also easy to work around if you insist on skipping that flavor).
Maybe it was the little green hat that won us over, but this was one tasty dessert! You can also find this dessert at Dahlia Lounge. It’s available for $10 and will stick around on the menu from March 17th – March 20th. Check back with us for more dessert reviews from Disney World!
