Select guests are able to make Disneyland Park Pass reservations today!
Disneyland reopens on April 30th, and those with existing tickets are currently able to make park reservations! Just keep in mind that these will be required in addition to a valid ticket. And if you don’t have a ticket yet, don’t worry — you’ll be able to buy new ones (and make those Park Pass reservations) on April 15th! But you may be wondering…HOW exactly does this Park Pass system work?
You may know that Disney World currently has a Park Pass reservation system in place, but the one of the west coast will is a little different. So here’s a step-by-step guide on how to reserve your Park Pass for Disneyland!
First, follow this link to join the virtual queue. You’ll have to log in to your Disney account, where your tickets should be linked.
Once you’re through the queue, you’ll be prompted to create your party. Keep in mind that you can book for a maximum of 10 tickets at a time. All guests must be California residents, and you won’t be able to visit in groups larger than 3 families!
Then, you’ll select your date. You can only make reservations for one date at a time, so if you’re reserving a multi-day trip, you’ll have to go through this process for each day separately.
After that, pick what park you want to visit! You will be able to Park Hop after 1PM (with a valid Park Hopper ticket), as long as capacity permits, so you’re just selecting the park you want to start the day in.
From there, provide an email where Disney can send your reservation QR codes. You’ll also have to confirm that you’re a California resident!
Then, your reservation is confirmed. Hooray!
You’ll be able to view your confirmed reservations on the home page of the Disneyland app.
And that’s all there is to it! Overall, we found this process to be much easier than reserving spots for Disney California Adventure’s A Touch of Disney event. Remember, only those with existing Disneyland tickets can currently book Park Pass reservations. You’ll be able to purchase new tickets starting April 15th!
We’ll continue to keep you posted as we receive more details on Disneyland’s reopening. Stay tuned to DFB!

Ok I started at 8:00 AM this morning and I am still in the waiting room. That makes it 8 hours so far….
Just thought you might be curious. So far this is not working too good.
Hi! Thanks for this info! I received email confirmation that my tickets were purchased (after about 8 hours in the queue)! But am still awaiting the email with the actual tickets (barcode included) to link them to my account. How long did it take for you to get the actual tickets? Can I make the reservation without them?
Thank you so much!
Hi Rachael, I finally got through the que after 8 1/2 hours, Once I purchased my tickets, I had email confirmation in less than 15 minutes. I was able to make park reservations immediately after the purchase, but it was a bit confusing. I made a reservation for the first day, and it looked like that was all it was going to let me do, but when I confirmed my reservation for the first day, it took me back to the page with all the days, so I just had to go to the next day and do the same, and on… It looks more complicated than it actually is. Just not a lot of good explanation. My next challenge is trying to get a room at Grand Ca.
Also I was concerned when I tried to sign in first and when I clicked on that, it took me straight to the que! I wasn’t sure if I would lose my chance for tickets if I wasn’t signed in, but when I went to pay, it asked me to sign in so it was ok. I’ll try to provide more info as I go through the rest of the process.
It is tricky to get park reservation when doing the hotel also. It’s different! You don’t have a ticket yet! Super weird and even the Disney folks don’t know. Somehow we got our park reservations but it want bc we had tickets. You have to do something different
