Ever since the parks first reopened last year, we’ve seen lots of health and safety measure changes.
In Disney World, temperature checks and social distancing have come and gone, but in other parks around the world, these measures are just getting ramped up. At Disneyland Paris, a new requirement is going into place soon.
The French government has recently passed some new health and safety requirements for gatherings of more than 50 people. Now, all those present at such gatherings will need to have a “sanitary pass.” Disneyland Paris released a statement addressing these new measures, sharing that they will remain open and change their operations to fit the new guidelines.
The “sanitary pass” will be able to show proof that a person has had a recent negative COVID-19 test, has received the vaccine, or has recovered from the virus.
Update: On July 13th, Disneyland Paris posted a notice on their website regarding this health pass similar to the one shared above. The update notes that the French President unveiled new measures meant to mitigate the spread of COVID, including a sanitary pass that will be required as of July 21st for all leisure and cultural locations gathering more than 50 people.
Again, the notice from Disneyland Paris states that they remain open and that they will adjust their operations to comply with the new measures and provide more updates as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Disneyland Paris recently posted an update on its Instagram page. According to the update, as of July 21st, “a Health Pass will be required for guests aged 18 and older to visit Disneyland Paris.”
Disneyland Paris has shared that the Health Pass must be presented in digital or paper form to verify either that the guest is fully vaccinated, the guest has been tested for COVID-19 and has had a negative result within the last 48 hours, or the guest has had COVID-19 and other measures have been met.
In terms of who is required to present a Health Pass, Disneyland Paris has indicated that starting July 21st, 2021, the Health Pass will be required for all adults ages 18 and older. Starting August 30th, Health Passes will be required for all guests ages 12 to 17 as well.
What if a guest needs to get a PCR test for COVID-19 at Disneyland Paris? Disneyland Paris shared that there is a testing center in Disney Village that operates daily from 8AM to 8PM.
Note that if your stay at Disneyland Paris will extend beyond the 48-hour validity of the negative PCR or Antigen test, you will need to take another test (or multiple other tests) in order to continue to have a valid Health Pass for your stay.
UPDATE: Disneyland Paris has released a video via Twitter with their updated rules. Check it out below.
