New vaccination rules for cruises, mask rule changes at Disney World, and new guidelines for cruise lines have led to a LOT of COVID-related news lately.
Today, we’ve got a new update for you from the West Coast.
According to the California Department of Public Health, indoor events with 1,000 people or more will have to require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry starting September 20th. This was previously the case at events with 5,000 or more people.
This rule will be in place at least until November 1st. Do note that self-attestation to verify a person’s vaccination status will no longer be accepted.
As of now, these changes are not impacting Disneyland Resort. But if anything changes, we will be sure to let you know. As we have said before, we want to keep you up to date on important travel news since changes could impact other parts of our readers’ vacations.

I won’t be traveling to California!
No problem because hell will freeze over before I step foot in California. Sad because it used to be such a cool place to visit.
We will be there the end of Sept.
So let me get this straight. They will require a photo ID accompanying the Vaccination Passport to get into any indoor event.
But they don’t require one to vote.
Yup. Makes perfect sense.
Yes! September 1st
But if you have the vaccine you can still pass it and get it. Cool. This is so sad to see what is happening to Disneyland. I wanted to take my son next spring.
