Downtown Disney Food Updates
Salt & Straw
We tried a pretty unique ice cream flavor at Salt & Straw. It’s the Mushroom Muddy Buddies flavor. It includes Roasted Hazelnuts, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Coated Cereal, and Candied Mushrooms. We’ll admit that it wasn’t really our thing.
But you can try it for yourself in a cone for $8.95.

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express
But the S’mores Glazed Beignets from Jazz Kitchen Express were DELICIOUS. They’re Chocolate-glazed Beignets with a Honey Graham Cracker Crust and a Marshmallow Dipping Sauce. Like, how could you go wrong with such a snack?
The answer is you can’t. And we recommend you head over to Downtown Disney and grab a pack of four for $13.99.

Did y’all REALLY finish that mushroom ice cream abomination? I could barely finish reading the description. I am pretty sure that just imagining how bad it tastes will help curb my appetite.
Not a mushroom fan to start with (the texture be it fresh or cooked gives me the heebie-jeebies), but candying it makes it so much worse.
Thank you for your culinary sacrifice – and a new way to curb snacking. I will just refer to this post whenever I get the munchies.
Deborah, we do what we can. Let us know what else we can ruin for you with mushroom food reviews. 🙂
LOL – thanks, Sarah – I will!
