We just learned that holiday celebrations WILL be returning to Disneyland Resort this year!
There will be special parades, fireworks, costumes, merchandise, food, and MORE from November 12th, 2021 through January 9th, 2022! We’re so excited to check everything out, and we have news about a returning favorite you’re going to want to hear about!
Festival of Holidays is returning to Disney California Adventure Park this year!
Guests can check out the sights, sounds, and tastes of a variety of seasonal celebrations, including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.
There will be live entertainment, themed merchandise, and 8 food marketplaces to try out different festive dishes!
A team of Disney chefs got their inspiration from their own unique stories to make some of the festive foods on the marketplace menus.
In the past, there have been more food marketplaces for the festival, however, in 2019 there were also just 8 available!
We saw booths like Merry Mashups serve up fun combos like a turkey stuffing tamale, pork al pastor naan taco, a churros Yule log, and house-made horchata!
Over at Favorite Things, there were things like glazed ham shanks, holiday stuffing mac and cheese, warm bourbon cider…
…and an awesome beer flight!
And at Grandma’s Recipes, we found items such as a plant-based shepherd’s upside-down pie, curried cauliflower, and chicken, and a Navidad punch!
We don’t know what the food marketplaces will look like this year, but we’ll let you know when we find out more about them, so stay tuned to DFB for updates!
