Not too long ago, we investigated a major Disney World mystery: where had all the POG juice gone? Drinks with POG, which stands for Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava, had been disappearing all over Disney World, with restaurants uncertain when they’d have this delicious elixir again.
Today, we have some good news about the mysterious disappearance of POG!
We stopped by Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and noticed something…POG Juice was back! We asked the server for some more info on the whole POG situation and found out that due to the shortage, Disney changed their source for their POG to Nestle. It was previously supplied by Minute Maid/Coca-Cola.ย
So what does this mean for Disney World? Well, this means cocktails with POG (also known as Jungle Juice and other names around Disney World) are on their way back too. In fact, weย grabbed a Ngumu Jungle Juice with Snow Leopard Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, and Tusker’s famous Jungle Juice today over at Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom for $13!
Despite the fact that the POG is from a new source, it tasted and looked pretty much the same to us. The booziness of theย alcohol doesn’t really stand out and the POG was front and center in terms of flavor, just like it was before the POG shortage.
According to Cast Members, the new Nestle POG is expected to be everywhere in Disney World this upcoming week, with shipments of POG possibly coming as soon as today.ย Even if it takes a while for it to pop up, you can make your very own batch of POG at home with this recipe!

I thought pog was passion fruit, orange, and guava not pineapple?
NOT pineapple orange and guava. PASSION, orange and guava!
Keith Wright
This article says the P in POG stands for Pineapple but I thought it’s always been Passion fruit? I had to double check against your home recipe that I wasn’t crazy ๐ Just a typo in this article or did they change the recipe?
I just got back from my last trip to the parks since January 2020 and had the POG juice at Ohana and it was weak and gross, nothing like it used to be at Boma. I thought maybe it was different because a different dining location but I guess the new supplier & recipe is definitely not the same and I’ll miss the old kind!
