In just a few months, Disney World will be getting a BRAND new Cirque du Soleil show — Drawn to Life!
The show was originally supposed to open some time ago, but its arrival to Disney Springs was delayed. In November, however, this show will finally open, blending together a uniquely Disney story with the amazing performances Cirque du Soleil is known for. Want to get a behind the scenes look at the show? Then we’ve got something special for you!
Drawn to Life, presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney, is set to open in Disney Springs on November 18th. Tickets are already on sale, so you can visit the Cirque du Soleil website to reserve your seats now.
The Drawn to Life show is family-friendly and is the result of a collaboration between Cirque, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering.
During the show, you’ll get to see Julie, who, according to Cirque Du Soleil, is, “a courageous and determined girl who discovers an unexpected gift left by her late father: an unfinished animation piece.”
Guided by a pencil(!), Julie sets off on a quest in which she’ll encounter many of her Disney-related childhood memories. Guests who watch the show will get to see classic Disney characters brought to life in unique ways. There will be acrobatic performances, original music, and even NEW animation created by Disney Animation artists.
Want a behind the scenes look at the show? Disney recently shared a video showing the artists returning and getting ready to bring this show to life. Check it out below!
