Main Street Confectionery is officially BACK and ready to invite guests inside from all over the Magic Kingdom!
Disney gave us a sneak peek at all sorts of new treats that would be coming to the treat stop, including Skittles Sugar Cookie Pies, an interactive candy wall, M&M wreath decorations, and more! Along with old Confectionery favorites, 30 new treats are also on the menu for everyone to try!
We gave a few of these new treats a try today — let’s step inside Main Street Confectionery to pick up our order!
A brand new addition to the Confectionery is their wall of M&M’s and Skittles for making custom bags of candy!Â
The “Color Kitchen” has 38 flavors of M&M’s and Skittles to choose from, so you can mix and match, depending on your mood.
Guests can even customize their own 50th anniversary popcorn mix! Four flavors can be used, which include caramel, rainbow fruit, butter, and cheddar…
…before they choose one of three syrups to go over it, including dark, milk, or white chocolate.
This seriously sounds like the ultimate sweet and salty snack combo!
Finally, you’ll be able to choose from toppings like M&Ms, Oreos, pretzels, and more to complete your custom snack!
Then it was time to pick up a few of the NEW sweets!
First up is the Brownie Pie for $5.99. It comes loaded with regular and peanut M&Ms!
This Brownie Pie was seriously so good and chocolatey! It had that not-quite-100%-baked texture to it, making it nice and gooey on the inside. That gooey-ness pairs really well with the crunch you get from the candy!
On the other hand, the Skittles Sugar Cookie Pie for $5.49Â was NOT so good. In our opinion, the Skittles didn’t bake well with the other ingredients. And while we often note if a snack is too sweet, this is one of those rare instances where our complaint is that this item wasn’t sweet enough!Â
We found the candies inside of the Sugar Cookie Pie to be chewy…and not in a good way. All in all, this is probably the one sweet we would skip the next time we visit.
Our favorite item of the bunch was the Chocolate Chunk Cookie for $5.49! This treat was a bit misleading; while it’s called Chocolate Chunk it’s actually loaded with peanuts, and only a handful of chocolate chunks and caramel bits. From there, it’s dipped in chocolate and topped with crushed Snickers!
While we found this cookie to be somewhat on the dry side (this would pair wonderfully with a glass of milk), it’s delicious and loaded with peanuts if you’re into those sorts of sweets! This would also be an excellent cookie to pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!Â
Last but certainly not least, we HAVE to talk about the mysterious-looking Rainbow Fruit-Flavored Fudge with Skittles for $4.99.Â
It photographs pretty well right after you purchase it!
Unfortunately, you have to eat it fast, because this little guy doesn’t last very long in the Florida heat.
That said, we were pleasantly surprised by this snack! It really wasn’t awful! However, you have to really love Skittles in order to appreciate this dessert — it tastes JUST like Skittles. It’s very sugary and very sweet — almost sickeningly so. Kids are totally going to love this treat, but adults may only be able to handle a bite or two!
Of course, we’ll be sure to give you a FULL look at over 150 treats that will be heading to Disney World for its 50th anniversary, starting October 1st! Stay tuned with DFB for the latest Disney entertainment and news coming soon!

Do you know if the toffee and chocolate covered pineapple will be making a return???
Rebecca, we’ll check on this!
That “candy case” looks so sad. No fudge (that I could see – they used to have so many varieties of it), no chocolates (I loved those Mickey turtles), no chocolate covered marshmallows. Just bakery items. It needs to be renamed the Main Street Bakery with M&Ms and Skittles.
DebC, there was some fudge featured in the case on the far right (out of view from the angle pictured in the post, I think). From other shots we have, I see four flavors featured costing $4.99 per piece. It’s definitely a different presentation than in the past.
I’d never buy anything rainbow colored. With the exception of M&Ms, I stay away from rainbow foods because of all of the food dyes used in them. I know that may sound hypocritical, but M&MS are, after all, nature’s perfect food. 😂
