Today’s the 50th Anniversary of Disney World and it’s SUPER busy at Magic Kingdom today!

Crowds
We’ve been giving you live updates on the crowds, the new map, tons of new treats, and so much more! This is great news if you love the hustle and bustle of a busy theme park, but bad news if you love using Mobile Order! Here’s what’s happening with Mobile Order wait times at the Magic Kingdom.
We’ve Mobile Ordered from several different restaurants in the Magic Kingdom today and had a pretty similar experience with most of them: LONG wait times. We placed an order at Pecos Bill and waited about 90 minutes for our food after we hit the “prepare my order” button! There are tons of guests in the park right now, so restaurants are overflowing with orders. We heard a Cast Member offering refunds to anyone who wanted to cancel their order after hearing about the wait times.
So keep that in mind if you’re looking for the Widow Maker Sandwich or any of Pecos Bill’s other 50th Anniversary offerings!
Craving something from Friar’s Nook? When we ordered, it took just over 50 minutes for our food to be ready.
So if those Mr. Toad treats are the apple of your eye, be sure to factor in that wait time!
When we ordered at Casey’s Corner, it took about an hour for our food to be ready!

Casey’s Corner
Here, you can grab the Funnel Cake Hot Dog (it actually tastes better than it sounds!) and a chocolate treat!

50th Celebration Hot Dog
Over at Cosmic Ray’s in Tomorrowland, our Mobile Order took 100 minutes (!!!).
Be sure to remember that when you’re looking for the ooey-gooey Mission to Mars burger!
Times will vary depending on the day and time you visit Disney World, but we did not wait very long at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square!

Sleepy Hollow Line
We’ll continue to update you as we Mobile Order from more locations around Disney World, but this is a super important thing to keep in mind when visiting the parks. We’re keeping up with EVERYTHING from the 50th Anniversary, so stay tuned for more!

Instead of Mobile, can you walk into a fast food restaurant like Casey’s Corner and wait on line to order a meal?
Is it exclusively magic mobile for food orders? Or can one walk up and order? If so then, is the wait for food to be prepared as long as the mobile order?
The MK is clearly crowded, but why are wait times in the app still reasonably short for most rides?
Dennis, you’ll need to speak to a Cast Member at the entrance of the restaurant. Sometimes they’ll take your order on a tablet there, and sometimes you’ll be sent inside. If you have the capability to order with My Disney Experience, they’ll highly encourage you to do that instead, though.
It was a joyful day, the wait times were surprisingly short. We entered the main store at 9:00am, when we arrived. Walked right in. We had to haul our purchases all day, but it was worth it. Food???? Well, that was not the best part of the day. It took one hour and twenty minutes to get a hamburger. 🤦🏼♀️ I tried making reservations for weeks, no luck!!!! By the time we left, the line to go inside the store was long, long, long!!! Thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of the celebration 🍾
Disney needs to get this figured out if they are going to make everyone use mobile order. I’m very concerned for my elderly mom to use this on our Thanksgiving trip. We won’t be eating every meal together & I want to know she’s taken care of
Hi Ron. Yes, you can walk up to make an order at Casey’s Corner, just let them know that’s what you intend to do and they’ll direct you to a designated window that’s been reserved just for that.
