In a galaxy not far, far away, people will soon be able to “board” the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (aka the Star Wars hotel) for a 2-night immersive Star Wars experience in Disney World.
Disney is still releasing information about what’s included in this 2-night itinerary, which carries a hefty price tag, and you’ll probably want to know about one Galaxy’s Edge spot that is NOT included in the price of a Star Wars hotel reservation. So if you’re budgeting for a visit to a galaxy far, far away — read on.
During a 2-night stay at the Star Wars hotel, guests will receive a number of perks and even admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios included in the price of the stay. On the date that you’re scheduled to visit Batuu, aka Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios, you can also schedule a reservation at Oga’s Cantina.
But, it’s important to note that this is NOT included in the price of a stay onboard the Halcyon. That’s right, you need to make a separate reservation for Oga’s AND pay for it. Guests can call their Galactic Starcruiser Specialist to add an Oga’s Cantina reservation to their visit up to 60 days in advance.
Oga’s Cantina is known for its specialty drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and they only serve two “snacks” that aren’t super filling, so you probably can’t expect to eat a full meal here. But the atmosphere is fun and unique, especially for Star Wars fans! Guests are limited to 45 minutes per party and there’s a chance you might have to stand during your visit.
Included in the price of a Star Wars hotel stay are food and drinks (excluding specialty and alcoholic drinks) and a quick-service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or select locations in Hollywood Studios. When onboard, there are also additional experiences that cost extra, such as sitting at the Captain’s Table in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room for $30 per person.
So if you were hoping to visit Oga’s Cantina before starting your 2-day stay at the Star Wars hotel, make sure you schedule your reservation and budget for the additional cost! Reservations for the Star Wars hotel open on October 28th, and the hotel is scheduled to open on March 1, 2022. And keep reading DFB for more Star Wars hotel news!

I loved this place. It was so fun. Drinks were amazing and the charcuterie board was delicious and filling actually. But it’s a one and done because it is too expensive.
