Holidays in Disney Parks can feel extra magical, from the decorations and new merchandise, to special events like Candlelight Processional.

What if there was a place you could visit and feel that Disney holiday magic all year? We’ve got a bit of that in Disney World with select shops that offer holiday merchandise year-round, like Ye Olde Christmas Shop in Magic Kingdom. Well, Disneyland visitors are in luck, because soon they’ll be able to step into a new holiday store, open all year!
Coming soon to Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland is Plaza Point, a brand new holiday store! The store will be located on the corner of Main Street, U.S.A. and East Plaza Street. This isn’t just a Christmas shop, though Christmas merchandise will be available all year. Plaza Point will actually feature seasonal, holiday displays and merchandise throughout the year!

This store’s decor is inspired by the Victorian-era, and it will be dressed to the nines for seasonal holidays from all around the world throughout the year, and will feature merchandise and decor at appropriate times for holidays like Hanukkah, Lunar New Year, Spring, Easter, Fall, and Halloween.

Disney’s “ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion” will be reflected in the displays that will reflect holidays from around the world in Plaza Point. Some of the merchandise you’ll find throughout the year includes ornaments, housewares, accessories, and more! You might even be able to spot some of the Victorian-era design influences in the merchandise.

I love and collect old glass blown Christmas ornaments from Germany. Each time I go to EPCOT, I purchase these ornaments in the gift shop in the Germany Pavilion. My favorite ones are the clip on candles, all 24 of them. Are these ornaments available on line or only in Disneyland?
Roe, my family also loves a Disney ornament souvenir! I don’t see these ornaments on ShopDisney yet, but when the shop opens, it’s possible some will arrive online.
