Disney’s All-Star Music Resort recently reopened after a long closure!
And we stayed at a family suite at the reopened resort! Let’s take a tour of the room together!
So, we typically enjoy a stay in a Disney World hotel, but this one was extra shocking for us. We stayed in one of the family suites and it was HUGE. We’re talking a living room with two murphy beds, two full bathrooms, a kitchen space, AND a master bedroom. Spoiler alert: With it’s newer furnishings, cleaner design, and layout; we actually liked these more than the MORE expensive suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!

HELLO All-Star Music
These rooms range from around $300 per night to around $580 per night. Over at Art of Animation, the going rate is around $430 to around $830. Um…these are so much cheaper!
Living Room
Walking into the room, you’ll see the new living room with two Murphy Beds that fold on top of the couch and table. When folded down, these beds can sleep two people comfortably each.
On each side of the second murphy bed, there are shelves for storage! The table also sits four people. The room is spacious when the murphy beds are folded up, but heads up that when they fold down it can get a little cramped.
Also, the couch sits four people comfortably.
This room also features a TV and dresser. The dresser has three drawers and a large cabinet to store your belongings. You’ll also find spare pillows for the murphy beds in the cabinets.

All Star Music Room
Each TV has its own remote that has been sanitized.
There are also hooks for your bags, coats, and ponchos.
Here’s what the murphy beds look like pulled down! Check out the fun art!

Murphy Beds
Bedroom
In the bedroom, you’ll find a TV and dresser (the same setup as the living room) with plenty of plugs, there’s a full-length mirror behind the door.
You’ll also find a safe and extra pillows for the murphy beds in the cabinet.
There’s a nice comfy queen bed with a side table space.
You’ll find this fun Mickey and pals artwork above it.
And there’s plenty of storage underneath.
The room also features a chair with an ottoman for enjoying the view!
As for lighting, this room has bedside lighting, plus a standing lamp by the chair.

Bedroom
This space is small but doesn’t feel too cramped.

Bedroom
Kitchen
In the kitchen, you’ll find plenty of room in the fridge (In fact, this is one of the larger fridges available in a Disney World hotel room. The ones in the family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are mini-fridges.).
The kitchen also features a microwave, a sink for washing dishware…
…a coffee station…
…an icebox…
…as well as plenty of disposable utensils and bowls!
The kitchen also has several cabinets and some shelving for storing and groceries that you might need during your trip.

Kitchen
See, lots of space!

Kitchen
Main Bathroom
The main bathroom off of the living room features a wide vanity with a sink, hand soap, and a posable personal mirror…
…and an ironing station!
The other half of the bathroom has a toilet and shower. The toilet and shower are separated from the sink space with a sliding, locking door.
Inside the shower, you’ve got your body wash, shampoo, and conditioner!
Master Bathroom
The master bathroom is very similar to the main bathroom with a sink…
…posable mirror…
…a toilet…
…shower…
…and the same complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner!
Keep in mind that you can’t close off the shower in this bathroom! You’ll need to close off the whole room.

Master Bathroom
Fun Details
This room has a few fun details including these music posters with Mickey and friends!
There were five in total, all featuring different characters and music genres!
There’s also the pattern on the chairs, which references All-Star Music, Sports, and Movies!
That’s our tour of the one-bedroom rooms at Disney’s All-Star Music! We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!

What is the transportation from this resort.
Kim, All-Star Music only offers Disney buses for transportation.
Was the room quiet?
Kathleen, I believe most if not all of the suites at Music are on the pool-side of a building, so during the day, you can hear the music from outside. When we visited this time, there were VERY few people staying at the Resort, and it was oddly quiet in terms of people-related noises (like screaming at the pool, for example). When I stayed in the suites myself many years ago, I recall it being a bit louder than other stays I’ve had when I’ve been further away from the action. Does that help?
Thank you Sarah. We are going in January so hopefully not as many people would be using the pool during the day.
Kathleen, I would guess you’d be right on that point. If you’re concerned about daytime noise (like I would be when I had a kiddo who needed to nap), you could try bringing a noise machine or using an app on a mobile device to play a white noise or rain sounds to try to neutralize it.
Do you know the height of the Murphy beds?
Diane, I don’t know that height right off (and can’t find it online from another reputable source). When folded down, the mattress is just about the same height as the side table. Side tables tend to be 23-25″ tall, so that’s the range in which you’ll find the top of the mattress, I think. If I can find a more specific answer, I’ll update here!
