NEWS: A Special Scavenger Hunt Is Returning to EPCOT's Festival of the Holidays

Disney dropped a LOT of news today about this year’s Festival of the Holidays in EPCOT.

Now we know all of the booths coming to the Festival, which cookies will be a part of the Cookie Stroll, and more details about Candlelight Processional. Today we also learned that a popular scavenger hunt through World Showcase (featuring our favorite Frozen snowman) is going to be returning this year!

Last year, a brand-new scavenger hunt called Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition was introduced in EPCOT. Olaf had gathered (and lost) holiday traditions around the world, and he was hiding in each World Showcase pavilion. Kids (and adults!) could hunt for Olaf in each of the countries and learn about holiday traditions around the world along the way.

If you were a fan of this activity last year, you’ll be thrilled to know that this fun scavenger hunt is returning again this year!

To participate, you can head to the Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or World Traveler at International Gateway in EPCOT to buy the map and stickers for $9.99. Last year, the hunt cost $7.99, so there’s a bit of a price increase for this year’s hunt.

Olaf’s Holiday Traditions Expedition

You’ll use the stickers to mark each holiday tradition that Olaf has gathered as you find them in the World Showcase pavilions. When you’ve finished, you can bring your map to Disney Traders, the Creations Shop, or World Traveler at International Gateway and earn a “gift worth melting for.”
