We are always impressed by so much of what happens at Disney World. From the Imagineering that goes into creating amazing rides (have you even been on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure yet?) to all the little details that most people don’t even notice that just adds extra detail to the magic, it’s no wonder that many of us refer to Disney World as our happy place.

We love all the details!
Well, we’ve got even more Disney World happiness to share with you today! And it’s all about some Disney animals in Mickey hats — but these aren’t just any typical Disney animals.
Nope, this is about SEA URCHINS in Mickey hats — and how Disney World got them to wear the Mickey hats is short of ingenious. The aquarists at The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT had 3-D printed Mickey ears made up to celebrate Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Because sea urchins “naturally pick up objects for decoration or camouflage,” they PUT THE HATS ON.

Sea Urchin Mickey!
Y’all. Sea urchins in Mickey hats. Are these not the happiest photos ever?
You are NOT ready…

But wait — because it gets better. Ranger, the Epaulette shark, also decided to get in on the Mickey hat-wearing action. So now we have a SHARK IN A MICKEY HAT.

We’ll just go ahead and say it: animals in Mickey hats are cute but AQUATIC animals in Mickey hats is next level. We just had to share these photos with you and hope they made you smile as much as we did! If we find any other fun Disney World photos, facts, or details, we’ll be sure to share those, too!
