See Who Will Get to Ride Disney World's NEW Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster EARLY!

We’re planning our coolest cosmic outfits and stretching our legs for the BIG day — who’s with us? Wait, we should probably REWIND and do a little more explaining. Disney just announced that the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction is opening on May 27th, 2022. No more pausing or stopping, we’re fast-forwarding to the grand opening date; it will be here in no time!

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction is coming SOON!

As with most new Disney attractions, a few special groups of people will get an exclusive preview of the Cosmic Rewind attraction. In a recent Instagram post, Disney World Resort president Jeff Vahle made an exciting announcement. Let’s take a look!

Jeff Vahle recently shared a message to Disney World Cast Members, hinting that Cast Member previews for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will begin soon!

In a message to Cast Members, Vahle said, “We are looking to you to be among the first to experience this incredible adventure,” adding, “Soon, our Cast Members will have several opportunities to learn more and experience the Wonders of Xandar pavilion and all it has to offer. More information to come soon!”

Isn’t it crazy to think this will be complete soon?!

If you’re not familiar with the new attraction, Disney has shared that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be one of the longest indoor rollercoasters in the WORLD, featuring a reverse launch and 360-degree spinning ride vehicles.

Disney hasn’t shared many details about the full story of the attraction, but we know that guests will pass by a HUGE Xandarian ship and enter the Galaxarium (known as a “planetarium-like exhibition”) where they will learn about other galaxies. From there, guests will board the ship and embark on an adventure!
