We’ve been finding out a TON of news about the EPCOT Transformation today!
Disney just shared a new look at the Moana attraction coming to the park, and they revealed new gardens and festival areas that will be in the center of the park. But, the fun isn’t over yet, because there is even MORE exciting news!
Disney just revealed new festival areas coming to EPCOT — CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall. CommuniCore Hall will be a building specifically built for festivals that’s able to host a wide variety of experiences involving food demonstrations, live music, and an art gallery space.
As part of this new hall, there will be a new location in EPCOT called “Mickey and Friends” where you can meet some of your favorite Disney characters!
That’s right — a permanent character meet and greet location is coming BACK to EPCOT! This sounds like it’s going to be a replacement for the now-closed Character Spot that used to be in Future World where you could meet Mickey and Friends.
We can’t wait to see what this space will look like! For now, you can still see and meet Mickey and Friends in EPCOT, they’re just more spread out throughout the park. You can find out where they are right here!
Stay tuned to DFB for more EPCOT news and updates!
