We’ve seen some pretty pricey souvenirs in Disney World in the past!
With everything from crystal replicas of Cinderella Castle to $1000 Mickey ears, Disney doesn’t cease to surprise us with some of the merchandise they release in the parks. And today, we were pretty surprised to find a VERY pricey t-shirt in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
When we stopped by Discovery Trading Co this morning, we spotted this new Coach Mickey Mouse T-Shirt for a whopping $150! Yes, that’s right — $150 for a simple t-shirt! The background of the tee has the iconic Coach pattern, with patches of Mickey Mouse, “71,” and the Walt Disney World logo on the front. It definitely has a retro look to it.
But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a pricey item from Coach recently! This is the latest item in their large Disney World 50th Anniversary collection, most of which is definitely more expensive than your typical Disney souvenirs. For example, part of the collection includes five different pairs of ears themed to the different Disney resorts around the world, priced at $295 per pair.
You also might recall that Disney released the Luxe Logo Collection last year for the 50th Anniversary, which included several black and gold items, most of which were very pricey as well. There were multiple pairs of ears (with price tags higher than $200 each), a Loungefly backpack, and even a fancy sweatsuit.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated if Disney releases any more shockingly expensive souvenirs for the 50th Anniversary. We’ve also got all the tips on how to have the BEST 50th Anniversary trip to Disney World!
