MagicBand+ is officially HERE!

On July 27th, MagicBand+ launched in Disney World, and designs were released in the parks, on shopDisney, and as pre-arrival options for hotel guests. We’re testing out MagicBand+ and have been sharing our full thoughts with you! But now let’s get a look at ALL of the MagicBand+ designs you can get in the parks!

For now, we’re going through all of the MagicBand+ designs we’ve seen in the parks! We spotted many of these over at Pin Traders in EPCOT, as well as in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.

Here’s a look at some of the spots where you can get MagicBand+:
- The Emporium at Magic Kingdom
- Pin Traders – Camera Center at EPCOT
- Celebrity 5 & 10 and Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Discovery Trading Company at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disney’s Pin Traders at Disney Springs
- “Select merchandise locations” at Disney World’s hotels
Let’s take a look at those designs!
Special Designs
There are solid-colored designs, as well as more special designs. Generally, you’ll find that the solid-colored designs are $34.99, while the more elaborate designs are $44.99. Annual Passholders and those with Disney World Hotel reservations may be eligible for pre-arrival discounts on certain MagicBand+ designs.
In terms of the ones we’ve seen in the parks, first up is a Pink Disney Princess Design.

The band is covered in princess designs featuring Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine, and more. The center “puck” features a crown, truly fit for a princess!

For all the Mandalorian fans, you can pick up a Baby Yoda MagicBand+ (of course!)

The MagicBand has an orange “puck” in the center, and the band has a distressed design with Grogu on one side. It’s priced at $44.99 and is also available online.
Can You See Him?
If you’re looking to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary through your MagicBand+ design, you can. Pick up this 50th Anniversary Pink MagicBand+ and you’ll be celebrating in style.

On the band, you’ll find 50th Anniversary designs alongside the Castle, and the center “puck” has a 50th design as well in the center of the castle. This one is priced at $44.99 and is available online.

There also is the colorful Orange Bird MagicBand+. It’s also available online.

This design has a center puck designed to look like an orange, with a blue band covered in Orange Birds.
So Fun!
One side of the band also has a larger Orange Bird and some oranges as part of the design.

If you love Mickey, then you might want to pick up the rainbow Mickey MagicBand+.

The band on this one is covered in rainbow-colored Mickey shapes…

…while the center “puck” has Mickey front and center! This design is $44.99 and is available online.

This features a blue castle design on one side…

…Mickey on the other side holding a balloon while surrounded by a pink sky, and the words “be happy” on the center puck. It is a discounted design available as a pre-arrival option but is not currently available online.

Some MagicBand+ designs may sell out in certain places faster than others so keep that in mind as you hunt for the one of your dreams.

There are also solid-colored designs available. These are generally cheaper at $34.99 each. One of the ones we spotted in the park is the solid Black MagicBand+. It’s also available online.

While we were in the Emporium, we did see that the 2-per-item-per-person shopping limit was in place for MagicBand+ (this is different than the 10-per-item rule that now generally applies to other merchandise).

Also, in addition to the MagicBand+ designs, we saw that a MagicBand+ charging cable was available to buy. Remember that each MagicBand+ already comes with its own charging cable, but if you want to have a few extra on hand (in case you misplace one or leave it at home by accident), you can pick some up here.

And that’s a current look at the MagicBand+ designs available in the parks right now! Remember that this is just a look at the ones we’ve found so far, but more designs will likely be released in the future, some designs are available online, and some designs are available as pre-arrival options. Designs might not be available everywhere or you might find different designs available depending on where you’re looking, so just keep that in mind!

Going to MNSSHP for the first time this year! Has WDW put out Halloween Magic Bands in the past? Just wondering if I should order now or wait and see if they release a Halloween Magic Band.
Thank you so much for posting all the options. I did notice that not all the options are available on shop Disney. Do you think that they are doing that on purpose for more exclusivity or are they just changing them so often? I was going to try and purchase before my trip but I like a few of the options not on available on the website. Should I just wait until I get there?
Hi Courtney! There are usually a lot more to choose from at the parks or World of Disney if you want to wait, but if you ever see one on shopDisney you love, order immediately because you never know when you’ll see it again. I’d keep checking the site and if you still haven’t found one you like, just look around once you’re there. 🙂
Thank you for all the information provided here. My question is probably answered in all the info, but I didn’t see. We are annual passes of Disney World. We have the photo pass included on our pass. However, with the new MagicBand +, we won’t be able to use that function at Disneyland – correct?
Hi Judy! You will not be able to use your Disney World photo pass function at Disneyland, but you can buy one to connect to your Disneyland tickets.
