Did you hear the news?! Blizzard Beach water park is REOPENING in Disney World soon!
Yep — the water park has been closed since the beginning of the year, and it will be officially reopening on November 13th, 2022. Disney revealed that there will be some new eats, treats, and drinks, as well as some returning favorites. There will also be some special holiday magic happening! But, one of the biggest changes at the water park is an area that’s received a new look!
The kids area of Blizzard Beach has gotten a Frozen makeover! Tike’s Peak has miniature slides and attractions for the little ones, and the area now has a new look. Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle is now in the area, and Olaf and his Snowgie pals are hanging out in the warm wading pool.
It looks like Olaf got his wish of enjoying the sunshine! This is the only image of the new area that Disney has shared so far, but we’ll be sure to check out the new area when the water park reopens on November 13th.
For a refresher, this is what the area looked like before the park closed for refurbishment.
There will also be some Frozen-themed food items coming to Blizzard Beach! Disney hasn’t revealed what the items will be yet, but could they possibly be…frozen? Like a frozen Frozen treat? We’ll have to wait and see!
