Now that you’re all set with the packing list, let’s find out what’s going to be closed in Disney World this November.
Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for years now, but it looks like it might finally be close to reopening! Although Disney hasn’t announced an official reopening timeline yet, they did release a video showing the engineers testing out the trains in preparation for the attraction’s return.
Construction on the upcoming TRON: Lightcycle Run coaster in Tomorrowland has interrupted the railroad’s tracks, but we’ve recently seen crews working on those tracks. We’ll be watching closely for a reopening date for this attraction!
Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
Another Tomorrowland attraction that’s currently being worked on is the Light & Power Co. gift shop, which is located at the exit of the Space Mountain coaster. While this gift shop is closed, guests are being directed to exit Space Mountain a different way.
Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date for Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., but it disappears from Disney World’s refurbishments calendar on November 6th, so it’s possible that the shop will reopen then. However, the calendar might be updated before that date.
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Enchanted Tales with Belle is a character attraction where visitors can meet Belle and help her tell the story of Beauty and the Beast. The attraction is still closed for now, and Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date.
However, you can sometimes find Belle greeting guests just outside the attraction! Look for signs in Fantasyland announcing that Belle is in the area.
Meet Ariel at Her Grotto
Another Disney princess is also missing from her meet-and-greet location. Ariel has been absent from her Grotto in Fantasyland for quite a while now.
Disney hasn’t announced when Ariel’s Grotto will reopen, but you can still take a ride on the Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid omnimover ride that’s located close by.
Pete’s Silly Sideshow
One more character meet-and-greet spot is closed in Magic Kingdom: Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. This is where you could meet Daisy, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald, all dressed in their circus performer costumes.
Disney previously reported that this meet-and-greet would reopen sometime “in the coming months,” and that announcement was given a few months ago. So we’re expecting this spot to reopen any day now.
See how Magic Kingdom parade times are CHANGING in November.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a stage show in Hollywood Studios that tells the story of Ariel and her friends.
This spot has been closed for a long time, and Disney hasn’t given any updates about when or if it will reopen.
Fantasmic!
We won’t have to wait long for Fantasmic! to return to Hollywood Studios! This fan-favorite show will reopen on November 3rd, bringing with it a few new characters, stunts, and effects.
Fantasmic! dining packages will return on November 30th, and reservations for those packages are available now.
Learn what will be DIFFERENT at Fantasmic! when it returns.
EPCOT
Canada Far & Wide in CircleVision 360
Canada Far & Wide is a film that shows the natural beauty of Canada, and it plays in the CircleVision 360 theater. That theater is currently hosting the Appleseed Orchard Food & Wine Festival booth, so the film isn’t running. We’re expecting the film to return once the Food & Wine Festival ends on November 19th.
If you’re hoping to visit an EPCOT festival during your trip, never fear! The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays begins just a few days after the Food & Wine Festival ends, on November 25th.
American Adventure Show
Once you hit the halfway point around World Showcase, you’ll find yourself in the American Adventure pavilion. The show in this pavilion — called The American Adventure — is currently closed.
Disney hasn’t given any update about when it might reopen, but it’s currently scheduled to be closed for all of November, according to Disney’s calendar.
Cool Wash
Cool Wash is a little kiosk near Test Track that has had many different roles in EPCOT. It’s been a snack stand, a space for tables and chairs, and, most recently, a mystery blocked off by many plants and shrubs.
We recently saw that the sign for this kiosk has been updated, and it now says Refreshment Station. That could mean that it will reopen soon as a new snack stand, but Disney hasn’t announced when or if that will happen.

Disney World Hotels
Narcoossee’s — Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, the upscale seafood restaurant Narcoossee’s is currently closed.
This spot will reopen sometime in 2023 with “an enhanced table service experience.” In the meantime, you can check out other Grand Floridian restaurants, like Citricos, the Grand Floridian Café, and Victoria & Albert’s.
Pools at Saratoga Springs Resort
A couple of pools will be closed in November at Saratoga Springs Resort. The Congress Park Pool and the Treehouse Villa pools will be closed for all of November, through mid-December 2022.
In the meantime, you can still visit the other pools at this hotel: the High Rock Spring Pool, the Grandstand Pool, and the Paddock Pool. Disney has announced that there will be shuttle transportation provided between the Treehouse Villas and the High Rock Springs Pool from 10AM to 5PM each day.

Disney World Water Parks
Blizzard Beach
The Blizzard Beach Water Park has been closed since January of this year, but it’ll finally reopen on November 13th!
When it reopens, guests can check out a new Frozen-themed kids’ area as well as some new snacks and drinks. Disney announced that holiday offerings (like meeting Santa in his tropical gear) will be returning this year as well.
Typhoon Lagoon
On the same day that Blizzard Beach reopens, Disney World’s other water park — Typhoon Lagoon — will close for refurbishments.
This closure begins on November 13th, but Disney hasn’t announced yet when Typhoon Lagoon will reopen.
Check out the new Frozen-themed area of Blizzard Beach here.
