The holidays have arrived in Disney World, and we’re doing what we do best — EATING ALL THE FOOD.
Okay, so maybe we bought a few pairs of holiday ears and merchandise, and maybe we checked out the holiday decorations, too, but for us, the best part of the holidays is the FOOD. So it’s time to revisit Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar in Disney Springs to check out some new offerings this year!
Every year, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar converts itself into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar with fun decor and food! But today, when we visited the Holiday Bar, it wasn’t quite done yet — none of the decorations are up, and the food isn’t on the menu yet. But we still got to try the new eats!
Let’s start with some drinks!
Drinks
Two of the new menu items we’re trying are drinks, including the Pomegranate Gin and Tonic for $14.50 (seriously, you had us at boozy pomegranate drink, Disney). This is made with St. Augustine Gin, pomegranate juice, and tonic soda, basically what we would call a very classic drink.
The flavors were well-balanced — we could taste the gin, as well as the tonic. The pomegranate flavor was light but still recognizable. Even better? There’s an entire slice of fresh pomegranate IN the drink, so you can pull that out, pop the seeds, and eat it. That makes this one healthy, right?
Then it was time to get our chocolate fix on with the Hot Chocolate Grail Flight for $22.

The Peppermint Hot Chocolate is the sweetest of the three drinks you get. It’s very minty, which means you need to love peppermint to enjoy it. We didn’t taste much of the alcohol in this one.
The Traditional Spiced Butterscotch Hot Chocolate came in the form of a syrup on the top, so you’ll need to mix it up to get that butterscotch flavor in every sip. It was sweet, but we could taste the liquor in this one, so it had a little bit of a burn to it.
Finally, there’s the White Chocolate Hot Chocolate. We liked how the alcohol tamed some of the sweetness of the hot chocolate — it made for a nice balance.
This flight is nice if you have friends with you so you can share!
Food
We ordered the Naughty or Nice Deviled Eggs for $15 — we’ve had these before and were disappointed, but this year, they seem to have been upgraded and WE LOVED THEM. The naughty deviled eggs have a crispy ham and spicy honey glaze, while the nice ones have a crispy ham and sweet honey glaze!

The deviled egg part is so creamy and well-seasoned. We loved the giant chewy chunks of ham on top and it all paired well with the sweet and spiciness of the naughty and nice flavors! This is a MUST if you love savory and sweet flavors together.
Warning about the eggs, though — they do have a texture that’s a little weird — the texture of deviled eggs with the fatty texture of the ham could be a problem for people who have issues with food textures.
We also tried the Turkey Coquettes for $27. Our team of three agreed this was the best of the food we had here! It’s like they took Thanksgiving turkey and turned them into delicious leftovers. They’re super crispy on the outside with turkey and stuffing all blended together on the inside. Each croquette is served on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes, which is a stroke of genius.
Even better? You can dunk them in a delicious savory turkey gravy. Oh, did we also mention that there are cranberry onions on top? It’s a holiday meal in a little ball and we ARE HERE FOR IT.
We ended our meal with Coquito and Cookies for $27. The coquito is very good and made with a lot of coconut milk, but you definitely get the vanilla and cinnamon flavors. It’s like a warm hug (Olaf would love this). You do get a touch of burn from the rum, but it goes down smoothly. If you like eggnog, we’d say try this.
The cookies were GORGEOUS, but also tasty. However, the filling confused us because it was like a holiday spice filling with a hint of tartness — we couldn’t exactly place what it was. But we enjoyed the sweetness and the spices together. Especially with that coquito!
The only thing we really missed while nomming on these holiday treats is that the decorations weren’t up yet, but we’re sure they’ll be up later (and we’ll keep an eye on it to let you know!). In the meantime, head on over for some delicious treats that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
