Just when you thought we were done with the special events in Disney parks, another one pops up!
The holidays have been making their way to Disneyland with snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle and tons of festive merchandise, but now it’s officially time for the Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure! We’re here to show you ALL there is to do at the festival including food, entertainment, and so much more!
Festival Dates
Before we dive into this event, you need a couple of key details — like how long the festival will last! The Disney Festival of Holidays runs from November 11th through January 8th, 2022. Some of the booths opened a little early, but the festival officially started on Friday, November 11th.
If you’re visiting this park within that time frame, you’ll be able to test out the new (and returning) offerings!
Food and Drinks
There are plenty of NEW snacks and drinks to try out this year. There are 9 Festival Marketplaces to check out during the festival as well as additional locations and special eats at existing quick service spots.
Since we reviewed many of the booths during the soft opening, be sure to check out our page that has ALL of our reviews of the 2022 booths!

Here’s a quick look at each of the booths!
Merry Mashups
This booth has Esquites Carnitas Mac & Cheese, Turkey Poutine, and a Spicy Apple Cider Margarita.
That mac and cheese is one of our FAVORITE things that we’ve had at this festival!
Read our full review of Merry Mashups here.
Brews & Bites
On opening day of the festival, we snagged the NEW Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido with House-made Tortilla Chips for $7.50 from Brews & Bites.
This is the only food option on the menu since the rest of the menu is (You guessed it!) brews.
You can read our full review of the Queso Fundido here!
Favorite Things
This booth has Chicken Tikka Masala, Mrs. Claus’ Hot Cooca Macaron, Churro Toffee Cold Brew Latte, and a Churro Toffee Cold Brew Latte Cocktail!
So did this booth live up to its name? Actually, yes! We enjoyed everything we tried here, especially that Churro Toffee Cold Brew.

Holiday Duets
At this booth, you’ll find Pork Belly Adobo, Southern Mac and Cheese, a Ceylon Splash drink, and a Huckleberry Sake Sangria.
Everything was pretty good, but that pork belly was the stand-out dish for us at this booth.
Read our full review of Holiday Duets here.
A Twist on Tradition
Apparently, we haven’t had enough mac and cheese yet (and we’re not complaining — bring on more pasta!), because this spot had another option in the Curry Mac and Cheese! There was also Lox and Everything Bagel Nachos and a Guava Melon Lassi.
That mac and cheese was really interesting and fun (a must-get for adventurous eaters who also love comfort food), but the real star was the Guava Melon Lassi. We’ll be dreaming about that drink!
Read our full review of A Twist on Tradition here.
Making Spirits Bright
The only thing to eat at this booth is a Mickey-shaped Gingerbread Cookie, but there are a LOT of options for drinks, such as the Maple Hazelnut Hot Buttered Rum and the Milk & Cookie Hot Cocoa.
The items we tried here fell a little bit flat for us, but that cookie is a good option if you want a really classic holiday treat.
Read our full review of Making Spirits Bright here.
Winter Sliderland
You can probably guess what’s served at this booth — yep, it’s sliders! Check out the Holiday Ham Slider or the Brisket Slider, and don’t forget the drinks. You can get a Cherry Mango Punch or the Tiramisu Yule Log Cocktail.
Our favorite thing here? It has to be that holiday slider! It was like Disney turned Christmas dinner into a sandwich.

Grandma’s Recipes
This booth has a couple of snack options, like the Impossible™ Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and the Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake. To drink, there’s a Blood Orange Pom-Limeade and a Hummingbird Cocktail on the menu.
That cheesecake was delicious, and even if you’re not usually a fan of Impossible meat, you shouldn’t write off the meatloaf!
Read our full review of Grandma’s Recipes here.
Visions of Sugarplums
You’ll find a Sweet Potato-stuffed Corn Muffin and a Chocolate Bourbon-flavored Tart here, plus a Cranberry-Chai Pisco Punch and a Piña-Hibiscus Mezcal Mule.
Not everything at this booth was a hit for us, but that corn muffin was probably our favorite option!

Festival Eats at Paradise Garden Grill
We loaded up on goodies at Paradise Garden Grill. Here, we got the Impossible Albondigas Soup, the Loaded Yucca Fries, the Pozole Dip Torta, the Chicken Tinga Arepa, the Chicken Tinga Burrito, the Mango Tres Leches, and the Watermelon Candy Cocktail.
There were some awesome bites and not-so-great options here, so check out our review to find out which you should choose.
You can read our review of all of these items here!
Additional Locations
We also picked up the Santa’s Milk & Cookies Hot Cocoa from the Treats for Santa Cart.
This is a simple drink — in the BEST way. You can read our full review on it here.
Over at Terran Treats, you can find the Hot Chocolate Churro for $6.75.
But be warned, this one packs a PUNCH!
