HUGE UPDATE at TRON Lightcycle / Run in Disney World

Here at DFB, we love keeping up with the progress of new attractions at Disney World. It’s so exciting to watch the magic slowly come to life!

Tron Lightcycle/Run Construction

Out of all the new attractions and restaurants coming soon to Disney World, TRON Lightcycle/Run is among the most highly anticipated. After all, it’s a high-speed coaster with unique ride vehicles, cool lighting effects, and a thrilling storyline. Now, there’s an exciting update at this ride’s construction site!

It seems like Imagineers are putting the finishing touches on TRON Lightcycle / Run as they prepare for the ride’s opening day of April 4th. Today, we saw that the sign has been installed outside the attraction!

The sign is UP!

Seeing the sign in front of the ride is getting us even more excited for TRON to open this spring. The sign looks futuristic, with “TRON” in big letters that look like they might light up at night (we’ll have to wait and see what happens once it gets dark!). The ride is sponsored by Enterprise, so that company’s logo is also on the sign.

If you plan on visiting Disney World in the upcoming months and want to ride TRON, we suggest familiarizing yourself with Disney’s virtual queue system, as it will likely be used in the place of standby lines. Knowing the tips and tricks beforehand will help make sure your trip is a success!
