It’s finally happening, people!!! After a long, looooong wait, Roundup Rodeo BBQ will be opening in Disney World soon!

This new Hollywood Studios table service restaurant has been keeping us on our toes for quite some time. It was originally set to open in 2020, but the pandemic delayed that. Then, Disney announced we’d get to eat here in 2022, and that changed too. But now we have an official opening date for Roundup Rodeo BBQ!
Mark your calendars, because Roundup Rodeo BBQ is FINALLY opening on March 23rd, 2023!

This rootin’ tootin’ barbecue spot will feature all kinds of southern eats, and we’ve had the chance to see a few sneak peeks here and there. We’re so excited to finally be able to see it for ourselves soon.
Disney announced that this spot will have “house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, sweet surprises, and more.”

Since this is a table service restaurant, you’ll need to make a dining reservation to eat here. Disney hasn’t announced yet when those reservations will open, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear!

Probably not somewhere I would make a reservation to eat, but would definitely eat there if I was hungry and a walk-up was available. Polite Pig at DS has my heart for Disney BBQ.

I am truely amazed at how many Disney dining locations offer some type of BBQ entre. I myself do not eat much BBQ and other than at the Whispering Canyon Cafe or Hoop ti do Review, have never eaten BBQ at Disney. Why would young children at Woody’s eat BBQ. My young daughter would not…
