Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Annual Passholder previews have officially BEGUN! And while a bunch of folks have been able to preview this attraction in the past few weeks, it HAS been struggling, plagued with evacuations and ride shut-downs. And this morning seems to already have another delay.Â
We’ve already had the chance to ride thanks to a few preview opportunities, but Annual Passholders will also get the chance to experience the ride a bit early, too. Now that Annual Passholder previews have begun, we’re bringing you everything you need to know about the Virtual Queue process and this morning’s delay!
Disney World Annual Passholders have the opportunity to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on June 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 20th! Annual Passholders need a park reservation at Magic Kingdom on one of the preview dates to have the opportunity to join the 7AM virtual queue — or, make a park reservation at any of the parks to have the opportunity to join the 1PM virtual queue.
The virtual queue is now loaded in the My Disney Experience app! To get a spot, you’ll need to click “Join Virtual Queue” on the homepage and then go to the Magic Kingdom section. The Tiana virtual queue is located just below the TRON one. When it’s time to join the queue, a blue button will pop up on this screen.
Right now, Disney World Park Passes for Magic Kingdom are completely full for Annual Passholders on the preview dates. If you’d like to try and join the 7AM virtual queue on one of those days, you’ll need to keep checking back between now and then to see if availability changes. Disney World Park Passes are also full for Annual Passholders on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’s opening date.
The Virtual Queue is OPEN…But Here’s What Happened Next!
After being present on the My Disney Experience app  for several days, the virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opened on the morning of June 13th – – the first AP preview day – – and frankly, we were a bit SHOCKED at how things played out. At 7:00AM the virtual queue opened… and didn’t fill up nearly as fast as we thought it would.Â
In fact, as late as 7:40 there was still an option to join the queue.Â
We theorized that perhaps many Passholders who had been able to book a Magic Kingdom Park Pass for the 13th did so without being sure if they could get out to the park today, and perhaps were unable/unwilling to join the queue at 7:00AM. Interestingly, despite the virtual queue not being full, we were unable to modify a Park Pass from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom.
By the time the park was actually open the virtual queue was closed with distribution “complete,” though Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had yet to begin boarding any Boarding Groups as of 9:30AM. So, it seems Tiana is still struggling this morning with delays.Â
The ride will be available via a virtual queue when it officially opens as well.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be part of Disney Genie+ when it opens. That means this ride will NOT have an individual (or a la carte) Lightning Lane. To ride, you’ll be able to purchase Genie+ for Magic Kingdom (or get the multi-park Genie+ option) and reserve a Lightning Lane for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
We’ll be bringing you everything you need to know about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens at Magic Kingdom! Don’t forget to stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for the latest news from Disney World and more.

I’m one of the APs that can’t book the park for any of the days so have had to book others then hop to MK to hope we get a ride on the 1pm VQ, suppose good thing is that we don’t have to be physically in the park before 1pm.
But what knarks me is our friends are here with a 2 week pass and haven’t had to reserve any park, they went to AK with us yesterday but still booked a VQ for Guardians at Epcot, we couldn’t as had to book AK.
Anyway going home to uk soon and not too sure if or when we’re returning so never mind

VQ SUPER frustrating! It my ticket, my time, so if I want to wait in a 5 hour standby queue, it should be my choice to do so! I hate coming all this way and spending all this money and then being denied the opportunity to ride these E-ticket attractions. That said, we were able to get on Tiana and I must say, it’s THE CUTEST re-theme ever! I was a huge SM fan and was so disappointed when it was closed but Tiana is beautiful and upbeat and FUN! Applause to the Imagineers for this one! Almost redeems you for what you did to the Great Movie Ride!
