There are a few dining spots in Disney World that never seem to be open…at least when I’m in Disney World! I wanted to write some posts highlighting these restaurants, and letting folks know — when they’re open, try them! — because you might not get another chance!
The following locations are seasonal, meaning they’re typically only open during the busiest times of the year in Disney World, like Spring Break and over the Holiday Season
Magic Kingdom
Aunt Polly’s: When Aunt Polly’s IS open, guests can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in the open air gazebo on the edge of Tom Sawyer’s Island!
You can see our most recent review from the last time Aunt Polly’s was open here!
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant: Blast off to Tomorrowland for some counter service eats to enjoy on an open-air, shaded terrace with wonderful views of Cinderella Castle!
Check out our review of some seasonal eats at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant!
Tortuga Tavern: Channel your inner Pirate! Tortuga Tavern welcomes you to a quaint Caribbean village tucked in Adventureland at this seasonally-open eatery serving – as the sign says — “Grub and Grog!”

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Caravan Road: You’ll find Caravan Road just across the way from Mr. Kamal’s on the path from Africa to Asia in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. When it is open, it tends to serve up some surprises with global flavors like Char Siu Pork.

The Smiling Crocodile: When The Smiling Crocodile is open, you’ll often find something unexpected on the menu (like a Pulled Pork Jelly Doughnut Sandwich, for instance)!

EPCOT
Cool Wash: Cool Wash tends to serve up specialty slushies (like Create-Your-Own options) during some of EPCOT’s seasonal Festivals.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Sunshine Day Bar: When Sunshine Day Bar is open on Sunset Boulevard, it serves up a few specialty cocktails and also offers a full bar.
