Channel your inner Pirate! Tortuga Tavern welcomes you to a quaint Caribbean village at this seasonally-open eatery serving – as the sign says — “Grub and Grog!”
This counter-service restaurant is located across from the famous Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. Again, Tortuga Tavern is a seasonal (a.k.a. rarely open!) location, which serves lunch and dinner when it does welcome guests.
As a seasonal location, the menu tends to see some changes, so you never know exactly what you’ll find. However, recent offerings have included a Brisket Sandwich, a flavorful Ropa Vieja, and a Pirate-approved Rum Cake! This is also a great spot to check for the theme park staple, Jumbo Turkey Legs.
Dine in the covered open-air pavilion with large ceramic tiles and decor reminiscent of an old-world pirate’s favorite ‘pub serving grub.’
Note that this spot was formerly named El Pirata y El Perico.
