Seek out La Cantina de San Angel if…
You’re looking for some solid Mexican eats. La Cantina de San Angel offers hearty Mexican favorites and a beautiful view of the World Showcase Lagoon. Seating here is all outside, but if you’re craving nachos or tacos, this is one of the best places in EPCOT to get them.
You want a quick meal before getting back to the park. This spot can get busy, but it’s still faster than having a whole sit-down meal in the parks. If you’re just eating to refuel, this is a great spot for it.
You’re looking for a low-key spot to watch fireworks. The tables closest to the edge of the Cantina offer a beautiful view of the World Showcase Lagoon. If you’re lucky enough to score a table in the evenings, this patio offers a great vantage point of the evening fireworks!
Skip this Mexican spot if…
You’re not looking for Mexican fare. Expect dishes like Arroz con Pollo Bowls, Nachos, Empanadas con Queso, Churro Sundaes, and Margaritas here. There are mac and cheese and chicken tenders here for kiddos, though!
You want to cool off somewhere inside with air-conditioning. Seating here is all outside, although Disney occasionally will open the La Hacienda dining room during lunch on particularly hot days.
You want somewhere with guaranteed seating. It can be pretty tough to find a table here sometimes, leaving many folks walking around with trays full of food. People often stake out tables before they have their food, which can lead to backups.
