We’re always looking for the latest and greatest snacks around Disney World, but especially in EPCOT!
Did you know you can get guacamole at not one, not two, but THREE different spots all in the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT? In the interest of science (of course) we HAD to try them all. Welcome to the Mexico pavilion Guacamole THROW DOWN! Who will emerge victorious?
Our Contenders:
Let’s take a look at our contenders for this throw down!

You won’t find this guacamole on their QR menu, so be sure to ask for it specifically if you want to try it. This guacamole contains chile and is served with tortilla chips.
Next, introducing the guacamole from Choza de Margarita. Choza de Margarita is a margarita and snack stand that you can find on the outside of the Mexico pavilion.
The guacamole itself in this dish is the same as the one that is used at La Cava. It contains chile and is also served with tortilla chips. What makes this one unique is that it is topped with Mango and Pumpkin Seeds.
Finally, we have the guacamole from La Cantina de San Angel.
This fresh-made guacamole contains red onions, is served with tortilla chips, and is topped with tomato. The guacamole in this dish does not contain any chile.
They were all close in price with each of them costing about $10. We tried all of these options and ranked them after careful deliberation.
The results are now officially in.
And the winner is…
The guacamole from Choza de Margarita! This guacamole takes the top spot for us, no question! We like a bit of spice in our dishes, so we loved the inclusion of the chile in this guacamole. It wasn’t too spicy by any means, but had just enough kick to make it interesting.
Choza’s guacamole edged its way to the front mainly because of the mango topping. If you’re not a big mango fan, don’t let it scare you away. There’s not a lot of mango pieces in it, but when you do get a bite of that sweet and cool mango, mixed with the chile in the guacamole, it’s perfection! It really balances out the flavors.
In second place, we have the guacamole from…La Cava del Tequila!Â
La Cava’s guacamole takes the second spot because it does have that chile to give it a small kick, but it’s missing all of those wonderful toppings. It’s still a solid choice though!
That leaves the guacamole from La Cantina de San Angel in third place.
Now, don’t get us wrong, the guacamole from La Cantina is good. We don’t have any complaints about it! If you’re really spice-averse, then this will probably be the best choice for you. Compared to the others, we just felt this one lacked that little kick in spice and flavor. But, it did have the red onions, which was a nice touch.
Overall, we enjoyed all of these options, and we’re definitely looking forward to enjoying our favorites again in the future!
We’ll definitely let you know what other fun snacks we find around Disney World. If there’s another snack throw down you’ve got in mind for us to try, let us know! We’re always ready to eat more delicious Disney food!
