food IS a theme park
A brand-new dining experience is opening in Magic Kingdom in just a few days! The Diamond Horseshoe is turning into a limited-time pop-up lounge, and we are so excited to check it out.

And it looks like we are not the only ones, because reservations are filling up FAST. [Read more…]
When you’ve been out in the hot sun all day in Disney World, the one thing that might sound like the PERFECT snack is ice cream. Now, Disney World has ALL kinds of ice cream and soft-serve options (and we’ll never rule out DOLE Whip either), but what if you want to try something new?
Hokkaido Ice Cream
Well, a new ice cream option just popped up in EPCOT, and let’s just say that it’s become so popular that it often sells out. We’re talking about the Hokkaido Ice Cream you can now get at Mitsukoshi in the Japan Pavilion — we finally got our hands on it, and we’re bringing you our full review!!
BOO! Did we scare you? Maybe just a little bit? To us, there’s nothing scarier than missing out on a limited-time Disney World treat!
Disney Springs
You might think we’re joking, but we’re being honest here. We live and breathe Disney food, so any time a new snack or sip drops at the resort, it’s a big deal to us. We’re still a month away from Halloween, but even more spooky snacks are headed to Disney Springs!
Going on vacation with a food allergy can feel overwhelming, but our team is sharing their favorite Gluten-Free items at Disney World!
Hello, beautiful
Eating gluten-free at Disney World used to mean a lot of pre-trip research and a little bit of anxiety about what you’d actually get to eat once you were there. These days, that’s changed dramatically because Disney’s Mobile Order feature now lets guests filter menus specifically for gluten- and wheat-allergy-friendly items right from the My Disney Experience app, and nearly every counter-service and table-service spot on property has a plan in place for guests with dietary restrictions. Our team has logged a lot of meals around Disney World over the years — some of us eating gluten-free ourselves, others learning the ropes from close friends who’ve been navigating it for over a decade — so we put together a realistic, meal-by-meal plan built entirely on what we’ve actually eaten (and loved) in the parks and at Disney Springs.
It’s no secret that Magic Kingdom food is typically VERY disappointing. In fact, many people say it has the worst food offerings across any of the Disney World parks.
The Diamond Horseshoe
However, a brand-new pop-up restaurant experience opens in Magic Kingdom in just one week. So we will see if the new Diamond Horseshoe Pop-Up will break Magic Kingdom’s bad food curse. [Read more…]
Monstropolis is opening next year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we have high expectations.

After a few years of concept art, permit filings, and construction updates, Monstropolis is taking over the old Muppets Courtyard and Grand Avenue. The land will feature a suspended-door coaster, the Glob Theater, and two new restaurants. It’s set to open in phases starting in 2027. But before we get to the genuinely exciting stuff, we need to talk about pizza.
By the time you’re done hearing about this Disney World treat, you’re going to be out of your house, buckled up in your car, and on your way to EPCOT!
What is this glorious treat?!
We traveled all the way to France to try a brand-new treat…ok, the France Pavilion in EPCOT, but we might as well have been in actual France the way that this tasted. Secretly, we want to have all of these to ourselves, but we’re going to be strong and not gatekeep so you can try this!
For many Disney World visitors, dining is an essential part of their visit. From tried-and-true restaurants to annual seasonal offerings, many Disney fans have longtime favorites that they stick with every single visit. However, doing so may be a mistake in October.

The tenth month of 2026 will see some major new additions to Disney World dining, including a long-awaited nighttime lounge, some mid-festival additions to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and MORE!
One thing you can always count on in Disney World is new snacks popping up all the time. And with all of these different options, it can be very difficult to know what you should try on your next trip.
We love the dark chocolate!
Which is why we review all the newest snacks around Disney World so you know what to try and what you might be able to skip. Well, we just tried two snacks in Disney Springs, and we are bringing you all of our thoughts! [Read more…]
Every once in a while, the DFB team gets into a HOT debate. Most of the time, it’s about which Disney World ride is best, which park snack reigns supreme, or whether a turkey leg is an abomination or not.
Let’s eat some hot dogs!
Recently, a brand-new restaurant opened at Universal Orlando CityWalk, and we were lucky enough to get invited to preview the spot before Fat One’s Hot Dogs officially welcomed diners. That meant that we had to decide who exactly was going to go to the media event, and it caused quite the tiff with multiple coworkers fighting over who would receive the honor.
