Diwali Dance Fest is coming to Disney World once again. Only, instead of being at Disney Springs, it will be at Magic Kingdom and other parks! This rare entertainment will be at the park for only a limited time, so let’s take a look at the dates and details.
The 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, and Disney dropped a TON of news regarding their park expansions around the world!
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event
From Avengers Campus in Hong Kong Disneyland and a Spider-Man-themed land in Shanghai Disneyland to Monstropolis, Villains Land, and Piston Peak in Disney World, it can be hard to keep up with all of the announcements. But don’t worry — we’ve got you! Let’s go through EVERY expansion announcement Disney dropped at this year’s D23!
Disney just showed us the ride vehicles for its upcoming Encanto attraction in Animal Kingdom, and we have questions. Specifically: Haven’t we seen something a LOT like these before?

At D23, Disney finally revealed more details about Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, the major family attraction coming to Pueblo Esperanza in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We learned its official name, got new concept art, saw some of the animals that will appear inside, and got our first real look at the vehicles that will carry guests through Casita. And those vehicles look awfully familiar.
Disney recently dropped a TON of announcements about the new Tropical Americas-themed land coming to Animal Kingdom at D23, and we’re even more excited than we already were!

We officially now know that the Encanto dark ride will be called Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, and the carousel will be called El Carrusel de los Animalitos. Not only that, but the Indiana Jones ride is officially called Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent. When Disney first announced this new land, many thought it would also feature live animals from the region, but a former Imagineer says that may not be the case.
After D23, news isn’t slowing down around Disney World, even though it would make our lives 10 times easier. It’s our job to keep you up to date, so that’s exactly what we’ll do!

During the Imagineering Showcase, Disney announced that they would be fixing the long-broken yeti animatronic on Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom. This poor thing has been broken for literal years, and now it’s getting some love. But fans had some rather mixed reactions to the news.
Well, we got a LOT of information thrown at us REAL fast during the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. We learned a LOT more about everything coming to Disney World, including Monstropolis in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as Villains Land and Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom.

However, we also got some more details about Pueblo Esperanza coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, including more information about the three rides coming to the new land, including the new Encanto ride. Disney also dropped new concept art for the ride, and let’s just say we stared at it with a magnifying glass to see if we could spot any hidden clues.
We’re not going to lie. Our heads are STILL spinning after all the announcements Disney made during its Experiences Showcase several nights ago at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. SO much stuff is HAPPENING. We got more details about Magic Kingdom’s Cars expansion, Monstropolis in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Villains Land in Magic Kingdom, and more. We even learned that Dreamfinder is returning to EPCOT.

But Dreamfinder isn’t the ONLY Disney character making a comeback. Disney also shocked us with an announcement that they are finally fixing the Yeti on Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. So, let’s take a closer look at that announcement and what it might mean for the ride.
