EPCOT is known for its treats, and we have eaten our way around the World Showcase hundreds of times to try it all. If you asked us to pick our favorite pavilion, let’s be honest and say we’d really struggle because there are so many good ones, not including the EPCOT festivals either.

We’re heading to Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, and we’re diving right into the caramel but with an autumn twist.

Yep, that’s right, we’re going to Tiny Train Town in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion. The itty bitty city full of chaos is ready for a visit from Madam Mayor, and I’m going to share all the nonsense that I find. Let’s go!

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
One Disney World hotel is having some pretty serious issues with a water outage, though the hotel itself hasn’t closed because of it, and another Disney World hotel just began a pretty big construction project this past week. Though, we are happy to see that one construction project inside the parks has taken a big step forward!
Changes are EVERYWHERE around Disney World right now — a brand-new hotel is being built near Magic Kingdom, the BoardWalk is welcoming new restaurants and stores, attractions are currently being updated, and new lands are being built around two parks!
Piston Peak Construction
While EPCOT has been on the quieter side of change lately, one of its pavilions in the World Showcase is preparing for some change! If past years are any indication, the Germany Pavilion is getting ready for some change — here’s what we know!

Vacation Fun
Disney announced pretty last-minute that two new closures are hitting Disney World, so if you’re traveling this week, it’s important to know about them. Now, there is a brand new spot in Disney Springs that just opened up, and we do have an update on two existing projects, which we’re thrilled about — we love balance!
It’s no secret that Disney fans often aren’t shy about sharing their opinions about the company’s rides. Whether it’s about rides that are closing, rides that are changing, unbuilt rides they wish had been completed, or even rides they wish would be built.
Japan in World Showcase
That brings us to Reddit, where a large Disney discussion thread recently broke out of the prompt, “If all the countries in Epcot had to have a ride, what would be your suggestions for the ones that don’t currently have a ride?” Suffice to say, many Disney Adults had an idea, and some of them were quite interesting.
If you’ve visited Disney World recently, then you know there is a lot of construction happening all around.

Well, we got one slow week in Disney World, and apparently that was the last one we’ll have for (probably) a long while.
Saratoga Springs Resort
While there haven’t been too many changes to the Disney World hotels right now, Disney did give us a heads up that multiple projects are on their way that we need to be on the lookout for in the coming weeks. If you’ve been thinking of booking a Disney World hotel reservation for the coming months, you may want to take a look at these new projects first to help aid in your decision.

We can’t believe we’re saying this, but it was a mostly quiet week in Disney World!
Old Key West Dock
We’re not taking that for granted, especially considering the month of August is about to be intense. We’ll be at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event earlier in the month, followed quickly by the first nights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash, and then we’ve got EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival to finish up.
