HUGE Changes Hit Disney World Restaurants This Week

What a WEEK we’ve had in Disney World. SO much new stuff has arrived in the parks, like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, Bluey’s Wild World, and more.

Some of these events even brought us some new food and drinks, including new Bluey-themed food and beverages, as well as a brand new Muppets-themed snack stand. Speaking of food, though, we’ve also been keeping up with Disney World restaurants this week, and we’ve got a few menu changes we need to tell you about.

SEVEN Attractions Opened in Disney World Last Week…But Dozens Are Still Closed

When we say it’s been an eventful week in Disney World, we mean that we got close to lying down on a bench in the park and sleeping for approximately 14 hours, but we couldn’t, because in EVERY park, there was something new.

It was well worth it, though, in our opinion. Getting to be there for the opening day of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, Bluey’s Wild World, as well as the official openings of Jessie’s Roundup, Soarin’ Across America, The Walt Disney Studios, and more? Yep, it was an unforgettable week. Now that things have slowed down a bit, though, if you’re visiting the parks this week, you need to know that there are, unfortunately, still many attractions around the parks that are closed and unavailable to experience.

Watch Out! The #1 Disney World Hotel Pool Is About to Be DETHRONED

For years, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts have had one very splashy trump card: Stormalong Bay. You can argue over the best Disney World hotel lobby, the best resort restaurant, the best transportation setup, or which hotel smells the most like someone bottled vacation and sold it for $48 in a gift shop. But when it comes to the best Disney World hotel pool, most people have pointed to Stormalong Bay and called the case closed.

It has a sand-bottom pool. It has a lazy river. It has a giant shipwreck slide. It has the general energy of “we accidentally built a mini water park and then attached two Deluxe Resorts to it.” But now? We may have a challenger.

Visiting Disney World This Week? You’ve Gotta Know What You’re Getting Into!

It’s been one of those times in Disney World where, if you blink, you somehow miss five changes that all seemed to have happened in the past 24 hours. It’s a busy time to be in the parks, that’s for sure!

This past week alone, Disney has opened multiple attractions early, such as FØØD by Swedish Chef and The Walt Disney Studios in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as Soarin’ Across America in EPCOT, all of which were originally set to open on May 26th. MORE closures are finally reopening this upcoming week, on time on May 26th (which is when Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is set to officially begin), so if you’re traveling to the parks, now is 100% the time to keep up with ALL the changes.

TWO Disney World Spots Reopened Early This Week!

Whew! It’s been quite the busy week in Disney World, but we can say with certainty that a lot of them are really good updates that we love to see!

The resort’s second water park has officially reopened to guests for the summer, and we’re thrilled that not one, but TWO locations opened earlier than originally scheduled, so guests can enjoy both of their offerings. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though, so let’s dive into ALL the construction changes that happened this week, and what you’ll want to watch out for on your vacation.

Disney World Just Extended Construction At This Popular Hotel… AGAIN!

If you’re staying at a Disney World Resort in the future, you’ll want to check out the refurbishment calendar before you go on your vacation!

Often, Disney World resorts get scheduled for construction to update common areas, makeover the hotel rooms, or just do general maintenance in common areas. Disney World’s website will include this information on the resort pages, so you know what to expect. Almost 70 New Food and Drinks Came To Disney World This Week!

Wow! What a week it’s been in Disney World. For starters, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopened after a YEAR of being closed with some pretty cool changes.

On the food front, we’ve been able to enjoy some new DOLE Whip treats (ALWAYS our fave thing), and we found our new favorite summer drink in EPCOT. Of course, Disney World restaurants changed their menus this week, like they always do, so let’s take a look at those changes.

TWO Disney Springs Stores Closed This Week With No Replacements in Sight

It’s been quite the week in Disney World, with the reopening of a major ride over in Magic Kingdom (that’s had some rough days following — we hope it sorts itself out soon), but Disney Springs has also seen lots of changes this week.

Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia, and 14 More Disney World Restaurants CHANGED This Week

Well, it has certainly been an exciting week in Disney World, especially now that May is here!

First, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opens on May 3rd after being closed for OVER a year (and it’s got some HUGE changes). Then, V.I.Passholder Days have kicked off, which means Disney World Annual Passholders can get a new freebie magnet, relax in a new lounge, get some increased discounts, and so much more. May the 4th will even bring some special snacks. But, before all that, Disney World restaurants had some changes this week we need to tell you about.
