Now we know more about the snacks coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (our tummies are READY!), as well as everything we’ll get to eat at the holiday pop-up shops with the hotel gingerbread displays. We’ve been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, too, and we’ve got some changes to tell you about this week.
Another week in Disney World has passed, which means we’ve seen some changes at restaurants.
For starters, we discovered a new Frozen treat at EPCOT, and we got a hint about when Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa might finally reopen. We also got confirmation of what will be returning to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. In the meantime, menus were also changing in Disney World, so let’s take a look at those.
So what’s going on with Disney World restaurants this week?
Well, Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom had a ROUGH day earlier this week thanks to some maintenance issues. We got the menus and prices for some new food booths coming to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. Oh, and did we mention those booths are sticking around even AFTER the festival ends? We also had some big restaurant menu changes this week, so let’s chat about those!

Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but since it was a specialty offering, it’s no longer available. If you’re sad to see that snack go, don’t worry! You can make the dish at home with this new Disney recipe! [Read more…]
Are you ready to track down an ultimate Disney food icon? For many families visiting Walt Disney World, eating a Mickey Waffle is a rite of passage!
But waffles come in all shapes and sizes at Disney and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to choose between them. Lately, we’ve seen Mickey, Simba, Liege, and Belgian Waffles — just to name a few. There are even Mickey Waffles for plant-based diners.
Magic Kingdom has some pretty iconic snacks.
From the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich to Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, this park has some good snack choices. But sometimes you just want to enjoy a bite to eat outside the parks — that’s why we’re taking you over to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for lunch today to try some good old ‘ono grinds.
When it comes to Disney World hotels, there’s a reason many guests claim Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort as their favorite. That’s due to a multitude of factors like the resort’s Hawaiian theming, the newly renovated Moana rooms, and the smell (seriously, it SMELLS SO GOOD IN THERE).
But another reason guests love the Polynesian is the food — because there is some GREAT eating here. For those who have never dined at the Polynesian, though, we’re going to break down ALL the food options there and give you some tips on what to eat!
