Birthdays at Disney World are THE BEST.
What are YOU celebrating in Disney World?
First, you can get a free button telling everyone about your birthday (and yes, Cast Members will wish you a Happy Birthday). Wearing the button can also sometimes get you some extra pixie dust around the parks, like a birthday surprise at a Disney World restaurant. We’ve even seen Mickey conduct other guests to sing “Happy Birthday” for someone celebrating their special day. Well, did you know you can also get free cookies on your birthday?
Valentine’s Day is officially around the corner! As Disney World locals, we’re always on the lookout for cute date night spots or places to have a gal’s brunch within the Disney bubble. We’re pleased to say that we’ve found restaurant specials fit for the occasion!

Summer House on the Lake is a new restaurant in Disney Springs, and it opened with its own walk-up Cookie Bar on December 14th, 2023. You don’t need a reservation at the restaurant to check out The Cookie Bar, and if you’re in the mood for sweets, you’ll be happy to know that they have more than 15 different options! We stopped by on the first day it was open to try out some treats — and here’s how they ranked.
