How To Get FREE COOKIES On Your Birthday at Disney World!

What are YOU celebrating in Disney World?

First, you can get a free button telling everyone about your birthday (and yes, Cast Members will wish you a Happy Birthday). Wearing the button can also sometimes get you some extra pixie dust around the parks, like a birthday surprise at a Disney World restaurant. We’ve even seen Mickey conduct other guests to sing “Happy Birthday” for someone celebrating their special day. Well, did you know you can also get free cookies on your birthday?

We’ve already told you all about one of Disney World’s newest restaurants, Summer House on the Lake in Disney Springs — we even have a review of that restaurant here. Spoiler alert: it’s a bright, lively restaurant with a diverse menu (and nice BATHROOMS, too).

We have also talked a LOT about the restaurant’s COOKIE BAR because, well…it’s a COOKIE BAR.

Well, we recently dined at Summer House on the Lake (with a Birthday Celebration button on), and we were lucky enough to get a FREE cookie! And y’all, these cookies are HUGE, so this was one of our favorite birthday treats!

Granted, this is something that other Disney World restaurants do, too (we’ve had our share of free birthday cupcakes, that’s for sure!), However, we do have to warn you that it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get any freebies during your meal, but you might get lucky like we did. Disney likes to spread that birthday magic around, after all.

Don’t forget to look out for more birthday freebies around Disney Springs! You can get free cupcakes at Sprinkles (if you’re a rewards member), free Starbucks drinks, and even free Sephora samples.
