The global health crisis has created many challenges for the tourism industry, especially for those businesses with cruise lines. Last year, even Disney confirmed that the last of its business to resume would be its cruises.
As of this year, sailings for Disney Cruise Line were originally canceled through February, but that was extended to March and April. Select cruises have also been canceled through August.

Are you ready to do some shopping?
As much as we love to do our shopping in-person at places like Disney Springs, this week has been a HIT for online shopping! Due to the global health crisis, Tokyo Disneyland — along with Disney’s other resorts across the world — closed its doors in February 2020. Its theme parks reopened in July, later seeing the return of nighttime entertainment, as well as character meet and greets.
In December, Japan announced a travel ban on non-resident foreign travelers due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. Soon after, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea announced reduced hours through January, and then later through March 7th.
March is about to be one BUSY month in Disney World as Spring Break is just around the corner. And on top of that, the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival recently kicked off.
Now, we’re taking a look at the hotel and ticket discounts being offered in Disney World in March! Please note that some of these are the same deals we reported to you in January and February (but we still want you to have the opportunity to snag them in March too)!
Disney is no longer sending out free MagicBands to its resort guests. But Disney guests can still buy a whole BUNCH of MagicBand designs online and in the parks.

In case you missed it, there’s a brand new Disney character in town, and her name is Raya!
That’s right —Â Raya and the Last Dragon premiered TODAY on Disney+ and we can’t wait to watch it! We’ve already seen Raya and her crew making appearances on merch, and there’s also a gorgeous sand sculpture at Disney’s Animal Kingdom dedicated to the movie.
We got some BIG news about Disneyland Resort earlier.

In response, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock stated that Disneyland would announce a reopening date soon. But if you were lost in excitement over visiting Disneyland again, you may have missed something important.
